Reality TV star Khloé Kardashian and professional basketball player Lamar Odom have opted not to buy a big house in Highland Park or Preston Holler and settled instead on a 2 bedroom loft-like condominium at the glittery 33-story W Dallas Victory Hotel & Residences in downtown Dallas.

The high-floor condo crib, owned by Mack Hicks, the son of Texas Rangers owner Tom Hicks and previously on the market at $1,625,000, was reportedly snatched up by Mr. and Mrs. Odom just a few days before Jesus's birthday at a rental rate of $7,500 per month.

The W Dallas Victory Hotel & Residences complex offers hotel guests and residents access to 24-7 security and controlled access, doormen and concierge services, a zero-edge swimming pool and a lap pool, 5,000 square foot Bliss spa, two state-of-the-art fitness centers, an entertainment lounge, and VIP access to the on-site Craft restaurant by star chef and Top Chef judge Tom Colicchio.

Following reports that Russell Brand mocked Katy Perry's family and their religious beliefs, her parents, Keith and Mary Hudson, have spoken out about her split from the British comedian.

The Hudsons, who are Christian pastors, recently spoke to their Church on the Rise congregation in Westlake, Ohio for the first time since it was announced that Katy and Russell were calling it quits. "I'm sure Katy is trending on the internet just to get you to church tonight," Mary joked. "I mean all over the world, who knows how God is bringing them in? The most important thing is you are here and God wants to put the fire in you in 2012."

Keith told the crowd, "I love my daughter and I will always love her. Stop being judgmental and critical. Do not close the doors to your loved ones, especially your children. Just because they do not like what you do or what you are, they are still praying that you stay in the race. They are counting on you. I believe in God, for every one of my children."

As far as Russell ridiculing Katy's parents, a source told The Sun, "Russ was forever making lewd jokes at the dinner table and poking fun at her parents' beliefs. He managed to restrain himself in the beginning, [but] as the marriage progressed, he got worse and kept winding up her family."

Report: Jada Pinkett Smith Meets With High Profile Divorce Attorney

Jada Pinkett Smith may be looking to end her 13-year marriage to Will Smith, as she has reportedly met with celebrity divorce lawyer Laura Wasser.

A source tells In Touch Weekly that Smith has "finally begun to take steps to dissolve their marriage," and she even passed on a movie role to spend more time with her kids during this "difficult time."

Back in August it was reported that Will and Jada had separated, but the pair quickly shot down those reports. "Although we are reluctant to respond to these types of press reports, the rumors circulating about our relationship are completely false," they said in a statement. The "New Girl" star filed the divorce docs in L.A. County Superior Court on December 27 -- blaming the split on "irreconcilable differences."

She also lists the official date of separation as October 3.... Halloween.

Deschanel and Gibbard -- lead singer for the band Death Cab for Cutie -- were married in 2009. They have no kids.

David Beckham Decides To Stay With The Los Angeles Galaxy

David Beckham seemingly is set to stay with the Los Angeles Galaxy of Major League Soccer after turning down a chance to join Paris Saint-Germain, officials for the French team said Tuesday.

After weeks of negotiations with PSG, the 36-year-old midfielder and former England captain decided he doesn't want to move his family from the United States.

Beckham's five-year contract with the Galaxy ended after he won his first MLS Cup in November. He was wooed by several teams across Europe.

Beckham reportedly will try to finalize a new, rolling one-year contract this week with the Galaxy, which was paying him a base salary of $6.5 million.

Dr. Conrad Murray - Medical Board Orders Him To Turn Over Medical Certificate

Dr. Conrad Murray has been ordered to turn over the medical certificate that hangs on the wall of his medical office.

The Medical Board of California notified the incarcerated doctor that his California medical license has been suspended -- something that automatically happens when someone is convicted of a felony and sent to the slammer.

The Medical Board is giving Murray 15 days to turn over his medical certificate.

PETA Slams Kim Kardashian in Beverly Hills Billboard

PETA has recently slammed the reality star by publicly erecting a billboard that features Kim Kardashian wearing a fox fur scarf, alongside a pic of baby foxes, with the caption, "KIM: These babies miss their mother. IS SHE ON YOUR BACK?"

PETA vice-president Lisa Lange said in a statement about the billboard, which is located on a busy intersection in Beverly Hills, “When Kim is ready to put an end to her relationship with fur, PETA will be happy to take her discards and donate them to the homeless.” But can Kim K really ditch those expensive designer furs, and donate them to the homeless? We think not!

The animal rights organization really has it out for Kim, they also named her their Worst-Dressed Celebrity last year.

For her wedding gown, the R&B diva says she'll be considering Valentino, Vera Wang and Donna Karan.

Kobe Bryant is Still in PAIN After Wrist Injury

Kobe Bryant isn't talking about his injury and how it affected his performance Sunday night against Denver -- he scored only 16 points -- however it turns out he was in such agony, the team doctor gave him an injection in his wrist to numb the pain, but it hardly worked.

Kobe tore a ligament in his right wrist during the first pre-season game against the Clippers. Sources connected to the team say the pain has been excruciating. Sources say he's gotten a numbing shot before each game since the injury, and as a result the pain was tolerable during play.  But we're told the shot did almost nothing Sunday night, and as one source put it, "It was a miracle that he even played."

In addition to the numbing shots, Kobe's regimen is now to play with a cast, get physical therapy after each game and wear a flexible cast at all times off the court.

One source put it this way ... "If it was anyone else but Kobe, if they did play they'd come up goose eggs on the scoreboard.  It's incredible he's playing at all."

New Year's Eve Ratings: Dick Clark's 40th Anniversary Gives ABC 11-Year High

The ABC broadcast of Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest grew by all counts on the last night of 2011.

The duo, joined by Jenny McCarthy and Fergie, gave the network its largest audience in 11 years and its strongest showing among adults 18-49 in 8 years, according to Nielsen fast national ratings.

Between 11:35 p.m. and 12:32 a.m., ABC's coverage of the ball drop in Times Square averaged 22.6 million viewers and a 7.4 rating among adults 18-49. It marks a 3.8 million gain among total viewers and a 19 percent improvement in the key demo. An encore at 1:00 a.m. also posted double digit growth in both categories.

During primetime, the super-sized 5.5 hour show gave the network an average 9.8 million viewers and a 3.0 among adults 18-49, topping the other three nets combined. Rockin' Eve's only network competitor, NBC's New Year's Eve With Carson Daily, earned a 0.9 among adults 18-49 and 3 million viewers between 10:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. (NBC's late night numbers weren't immediately available.)

MTV Announces 'Punk'd' Premiere Date, Reveals Celebrity Hosts

What a way to ring in the new year. During its New Year's Eve telecast, MTV revealed the premiere date (or more appropriately the return) of hidden-camera prank reality series Punk'd.

The new incarnation, the franchise's ninth season, will launch Monday, March 19. But instead of just one host leading each week's episode, Punk'd will feature a new celebrity host each week. Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus, Kellan Lutz, Bam Margera and Dax Shepard, who appeared in the original series, are the first Hollywood talent to guest host an episode.
