Wolfgang Puck just dropped a whopping $14 million on this villa in Bel Air. The celebrity chef purchased the mansion from Hyatt hotel heir Anthony Pritzker. The original listing price was $21.9 million but was reduced a staggering 18 times until they found a buyer, so it looks as if he got quite the deal!

Named Villa les Violettes, the Mediterranean estate boasts 53,000 square-feet and 8 bedrooms, in addition to a bowling alley, sprawling gardens, a pool, tennis court, ballroom-size living room, a library, media room, and elaborate interior details.

Justin Bieber tweeted a teaser trailer for his upcoming film "Believe" on Friday. In the clip, the pop sensation jokes that his facial hair is a symbol of manhood. Charlie Hunnam Bails On 'Fifty Shades of Grey' Movie

Charlie Hunnam has just dropped out of the big screen adaption of "Fifty Shades of Grey" -- and it's all because of his role on "Sons of Anarchy."

According to sources, the decision was made because Hunnam wasn't able to "adequately prepare" for the role due to his "immersive" TV schedule.

Makes sense, since filming was supposed to begin on the movie later this month -- but just days ago Hunnam was talking up how seriously he had been taking the role, so it's pretty surprising.

No word yet on who the replacement will be.

Joseph Gordon-Levitt Won’t ‘Clarify’ Gay Rumors

Hmmm, we “get” what he’s saying.…like, how he hates that we live in a world where people have to announce their sexuality any time they are provoked by rumors.

Michael Douglas Admits: It Was Tongue Cancer, Not Throat Cancer

Michael Douglas is changing his cancer story yet again.

First he had throat cancer -- which he said was a result of his performing oral sex on women. Then he thought better of admitting that.

Now he says it was really tongue cancer.

“This was right before I had to go on a big tour for ‘Wall Street,’ ” the actor said in a British TV interview that aired on Friday, referring to his promotion of 2010’s “Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps.”

“The surgeon said, ‘Let’s just say it’s throat cancer,’ ” Douglas, 69, recalled. “I said, ‘OK, you don’t want to say it’s tongue cancer?’ I said, ‘Why’s that?’

“And he said, ‘Well, if you really want to know why, if we do have to have surgery, it’s not going to be pretty. You’ll lose part of your jaw and your tongue and all of that stuff.’ So I said, ‘OK, sure.’ ”

So to avoid discussing the possibility of losing part of his face with reporters while promoting his movie, Douglas came forward in August 2010 and said he had throat cancer.

In an interview airing today on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show," the 20-year-old star opens up about her split from former fiance Liam Hemsworth (who has already been seen making out with a new girl).

"I keep saying I’m the happiest I’ve ever been and that’s not even a dig," she tells the talk show host during the revealing sit-down. "That’s just me because I really am genuinely happy finally with myself which I think sometimes it takes you separating yourself from someone else to really be happy with who you are."

First Look At David O. Russell's "American Hustle"

Sony Pictures has released the first official teaser trailer for director David O. Russell's (Silver Linings Playbook) latest project, American Hustle (2013), starring Christian Bale, Robert De Niro, Amy Adams, Bradley Cooper, Jennifer Lawrence, Jeremy Renner, and Elisabeth Röhm. Shia LaBeouf Attacked In London

Actor Shia LaBeouf was involved in a tussle on a London street after a night of drinking with friends.

The "Transformers" star, who is in the U.K. shooting "Fury," a World War II flick with Brad Pitt, whipped out a camera and began filming two women being sick in the street in Leicester Square.

When the women, Ash and Isis Nawaz noticed they were on camera, they told LaBeouf to get lost, and when he refused to stop filming, an unidentified man stepped in. LaBeouf turned his camera on the guy, who responded by knocking the camera from the actor's hands and then punching him.

A gathering crowd drew the attention of some bouncers at a nightclub, who broke up the scuffle long enough for LaBeouf and his friend to run off.

"I only realized it was Shia after he’d been beaten up," Ash Nawaz said later. "If I’d known, I’d have let him film me as much as he liked. I have a massive crush on him."

Last year, the actor got in another fight in London over a baseball cap.

Mercury Astronaut Scott Carpenter -- Second American In Orbit, Dies At 88

The United States' fourth astronaut to fly in space and the second to orbit the Earth, Scott Carpenter, 88, died on Thursday.

Chosen in 1959 among NASA's first astronauts, Carpenter made his first and only spaceflight on May 24, 1962, when he became the sixth man worldwide to leave the planet.

During his Mercury-Atlas 7 mission, Carpenter circled the Earth three times, conducted some of the first astronaut science experiments, and consumed the first solid space food — small square cubes composed of chocolate, figs, and dates mixed with high-protein cereals.

Craig Robinson ARRESTED In Bahamas For Weed & Ecstasy

 

"Office" star Craig Robinson was arrested for drug possession in the Bahamas yesterday -- after trying to board a plane with half a gram of marijuana and 18 ecstasy pills.

Robinson -- who was in the Bahamas for a comedy show at the Atlantis hotel -- appeared before a magistrate (wearing a T-shirt and shorts) and pled guilty to two counts of drug possession.

Robinson was facing up to 4 YEARS in prison -- but got a huge break with the magistrate, who let Craig off the hook with a simple $1,000 fine. He was also ordered to leave the country ASAP.

During the hearing, Robinson told the court he brought the drugs from the U.S. and simply didn't know they were outlawed in the Bahamas.

After the hearing, one Bahamian law enforcement official told reporters the incident was "nothing major."

Joe Scarborough QUIET DIVORCE -- After 12-Year Marriage

Joe Scarborough -- host of MSNBC's "Morning Joe" -- quietly divorced his wife of 12 years back in January, sources can confirm.

The 50-year-old former Florida congressman filed the divorce documents in Connecticut back in September 2012 -- seeking to end his marriage to Susan Waren, a former aide to FL Gov. Jeb Bush. The two were married in 2001.

The former couple have 2 children together -- a 10-year-old and a 5-year-old.

There have been rumors for years that Scarborough has a thing for his "Morning Joe" co-host Mika Brzezinski (right) (who is married btw). And the sexual tension between the two is so apparent, they addressed it during a media event in 2009 ... denying having any sort of romantic feelings for each other.

Mob Wanted Johnny Carson Dead For Flirting

The Mafia put a contract out on Tonight Show host Johnny Carson after he drunkenly tried to pick up a mobster’s “goomar” in Frank Sinatra’s favorite Manhattan bar, according to a new biography of the TV icon.

It was 1970, and a predictably sloshed Carson was whetting his whistle at Jilly’s Saloon on West 52nd Street and Eight Avenue at closing time.

“An attractive brunette at the bar caught Carson’s eye, and he was doing his considerable best to convince her to leave with him,” wrote Henry Bushkin in his new tome “Johnny Carson.”
But the babe was not unattached.

“And when her boyfriend – a major figure in the underworld – arrived, he was not grateful to Johnny for entertaining his ‘goomar’ in his absence,” Bushkin wrote.

The wiseguy and his goons picked Carson up off his bar stool and threw him down a flight of stairs before famed saloon owner Jilly Rizzo – whose regulars included Sinatra, Dean Martin and Judy Garland – interceded and prevented a more serious beating.

Jonas Brothers Plan To BREAK UP

The Jonas Brothers -- Kevin, Joe and Nick -- are close to breaking up ... they are going in 3 different directions and the band has lost its identity -- sources can confirm.

The Brothers just cancelled their entire upcoming tour -- 19 concerts, which was supposed to kick off Friday.

Sources say, the rift exploded over the release of their next batch of songs. Each brother had a different vision of where they wanted to take the band, ranging from pop to hard rock. They all agreed on one thing -- releasing anything new would be a disaster, because the style would be all over the place.

The concert cancellation may be a precursor to an official breakup, but so far no decision has been made.

Bruce Jenner is issuing another official statement about the end of his marriage.

As news of his split from Kris Jenner hijacked the Internet on Tuesday afternoon, the 63-year-old carried on with his day, hitting the links with the couple's teen daughters, Kendall and Kylie. But when the Olympic gold medalist realized they were being trailed by paparazzi on the golf course, he and the high school girls banded together to send a group message in the form of a middle finger salute.

Despite being annoyed enough to give the finger, the reality TV trio otherwise seemed to be in jovial moods. Dad Bruce was smiling and laughing while flipping the controversial digit, and the girls seemed amused as well.

Film Critic Stanley Kauffman Dies At 97

Stanley Kauffmann, the critic, author and editor who reviewed movies for The New Republic for more than 50 years, wrote his own plays and fiction, and helped discover the classic novels Fahrenheit 451 and The Moviegoer, died Wednesday. He was 97.

Kauffmann died of pneumonia at St. Luke’s Hospital in Manhattan, said Adam Plunkett, assistant literary editor at The New Republic.

Hayden Panettiere Confirms Engagement To Boxer Wladimir Klitschko

Hayden Panettiere appeared on Good Morning America on Wednesday, and the 24-year-old Nashville starlet showed off her diamond engagement ring before taping her interview.

Later on Hayden appeared on Live With Kelly & Michael with a boa constrictor around her neck, but rather than commenting on the massive reptile, host Kelly Ripa joked, "I'm sort of distracted, not just by the snake, but there's a very large diamond ring on your finger. I'm not sure if you want to announce anything … does that signify anything, is that a promise of something?"

Panettiere said that it "might" mean something, but when Ripa straight up asked the actress if she was engaged to longtime beau Wladimir Klitschko, Panettiere finally replied, "I am!"

Panettiere and Klitschko met in 2009 and dated for two years before splitting up, but the two got back together this spring and were rumored to be engaged, though she wouldn't confirm it.

Lamar Odom Pleads NOT GUILTY TO DUI

Lamar Odom has just pled not guilty to DUI stemming from his arrest in August.

The former NBA star was not in court, but his lawyer, Rich Hutton, entered the plea on his behalf.

Lamar has what has become a life-threatening drug problem, which includes big issues with crack. He was busted for "driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs" on August 30th.

According to police, Lamar failed numerous field sobriety tests following the traffic stop in L.A. and refused all chemical tests when he was booked.

A pretrial date has been set for next month. In the meantime, Lamar has been ordered to obey all laws.

Lamar Odom and Khloe Kardashian finally came back together in public -- for the first time in months -- and all it took for them to reunite was Kris Jenner getting separated.

Khloe and Lamar were photographed driving together -- she had the wheel, he rode next to her -- near her mom's home in Calabasas -- right around the time news broke about Kris and Bruce Jenner's split on Tuesday.

Nothing too warm and fuzzy about the look on their faces in the SUV ... but it is the first time Khloe and lamar did anything together -- besides discussing his drug addiction -- since early summer.

Despite the fact they appear to be rallying for Kris, sources say Khloe and Lamar's marriage is still much closer to being over than reconciled.

Suzanne Somers Reveals She Has Sex Twice a Day

Suzanne Somers has a perfectly active sex life after 40.

Following Miley Cyrus's controversial comments on Monday about middle-aged people no longer getting intimate, Somers, 66, announced on Tuesday's episode of The Talk that she has sex "a couple times a day" with her husband of 36 years, Alan Hamel.

"He's on hormones and I'm on hormones," Somers said bashfully, to the sound of laughter and applause. "I'm going to be so sorry I said that. What is it about men at four in the morning? And then I'm really awake around eight or so. We have busy mornings."

Discussing her racy persona with Matt Lauer, Cyrus, 20, had said, "I heard when you turn 40, things start to go a little less sexual. So probably around 40, around that time, I heard that's when people don't have sex anymore."

Miley Cyrus Calls Truce, But Sinead O'Connor Keeps Firing Away With Fourth Open Letter

Sinead O'Connor is not letting this story die! Miley Cyrus and the "Nothing Compares 2 U" singer have been at it for the past week, trading digs via social media, interviews and endless open letters but we thought the beef was in the cooler when the "Wrecking Ball" singer went on the Today show and seemed to put the issue aside when said she that despite everything said, she was a "big fan" of Sinead's and that the things were "all good." Well apparently Sinead doesn't seem to think so! The verbose singer penned yet ANOTHER open letter (we think this is the fourth one, but we may have lost count) to the 20-year-old.

In the letter, the 46-year-old puts blame on Miley for the social media attack that has resulted from her criticism of Miley.

Sinead writes:

    "As a result of what you did I have had numerous communications from people urging me to commit suicide. Not to mention I have been the subject of literally thousands of abusive articles and or comments left after articles, which state that I and therefore all perceived mentally ill people, should be bullied and be invalidated. Luckily I am a strong person. And I have four children whose lives would be destroyed if I were to buckle under the abuse you set me up for."

While we think urging someone to commit suicide is uncalled for and mental illness is a very serious issue and not to be mocked, we really do not believe that Miley "set [her] up for" it. Sinead is the one who began this battle and it has unfortunately turned out to be a social media war.

The Irish songstress has some valid points in all of her letters but the message gets lost in the constant stream of words. Hopefully Sinead can do what the much younger Miley seems to have done and just let it go -- that way we can all move on and talk about something other than Miley Cyrus and her tongue.

Russell Brand Buys Hollywood Hills Home For $2.2 Million

Actor Russell Brand just bought this Hollywood Hills home for $2.2 million.

The restored 1926 traditional-style house was designed by Roy Selden Price, and silver screen legend Laurence Olivier lived here in the 1930s. The 4,800-square-foot home has five bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms, and there are arched doorways, an outdoor dining terrace and deck with stunning views and there's even a movie theater.

Brand was married to singer Katy Perry from 2010 to 2012, and she recently reduced the price on the former couple's Hollywood Hills home after listing it earlier this year. The home is still listed for just under $6 million, but Katy wasn't in the mood to wait around and she threw down $11.2 million for two properties atop Runyon Canyon in the Hollywood Hills.

Michael Douglas & Ex-Wife DENIED From Seeing Their Son

Michael Douglas and his ex-wife, Diandra have been denied AGAIN from seeing their imprisoned son -- ironically derailed by a group that fights for prison reform.

Cameron Douglas is currently serving time on drug charges and prison officials are not letting visitors see him -- including his parents.

Diandra has been enlisting Hollywood celebs to sign a petition posted on Change.org -- a petition urging prison officials to let them see their son. 

Her campaign was picking up steam but suddenly it disappeared from the website with no explanation.

So, Diandra and Michael are back to square one.

Kris Jenner and Bruce Jenner Announce SEPERATION

 

Bruce Jenner and Kris Jenner have separated. 

"We are living separately and we are much happier this way," the couple of more than two decades told E! News in a statement. "But we will always have much love and respect for each other. Even though we are separated, we will always remain best friends, and as always, our family will remain our No. 1 priority."

The Olympian, 63, and the Kardashian matriarch, 57, were married in 1991. They have two daughters together, Kendall, 17, and Kylie, 16, and each have four children from previous marriages.
 
In April, the couple celebrated their 22nd wedding anniversary amid rumors of a split, but put on brave faces.

David and Victoria Beckham Sell Their U.K. Country Estate For $19.2 Million

David and Victoria Beckham have reportedly sold their Hertfordshire country estate in an off-market deal for 12 million pounds, which is approximately $19.2 million.

The home, known both as Rowneybury House and Beckingham Palace, has seven bedrooms, a recording studio, a gym and a snooker room (that's Brit-speak for a game room). Other amenities, many of which were added since the Beckhams bought the place, include a helipad, a 52-foot long marble-floored garden pavilion, a lighted tennis court, and both indoor and outdoor swimming pools.

The sale price also reportedly includes several luxury cars (including a Ferrari and two Jaguars) and Domaine Saint-Vincent, which is the Beckham's holiday home in the south of France. That estate is valued around 2.6 million pounds ($4,161,590). Posh and Becks purchased the estate in late 1999 for about £2.5 million ($4,161,590), so they'll still turn a heft profit on the place.

The family plan on hanging on to their Beverly Hills home (they purchased that pad in 2007 for $18.2 million), but they are reportedly looking for a new home in London. So how's that going? According to reports, the superstar couple have already made an offer on a four-story mansion in West London that costs a whopping 45 MILLION POUNDS! (That's roughly $72 million...)

Australian DJ Ruby Rose (right) shocked fans on Sunday when she announced on Twitter that she had slept with Demi Lovato.

On Sunday, the DJ from down under sparked some major media attention when she wrote a mysterious tweet: 'Think i'll take a few days off social media while @ddlovato's friend attack me for being a 'scorned ex-lover.'"

The 27-year-old Aussie also added fuel to the girl-on-girl fire when she claimed on Instagram that she was, "the one person demi has slept with that didn't sell naked photos of her."

Hmm Ruby, not sure if you should brag about how great it isn't that you haven't sold photos of Demi when you (possibly) outed her via social media!

Given that the X Factor judge is pretty much an open book, talking candidly about her addictions, past relationships and boyfriends, we'd be pretty surprised if this were true. But ya never know, girls just wanna have fun!

Ruby has subsequently deleted the eyebrow-raising posts from her account after getting exorbitant attention from Demi's die-hard fans.

'Listen, im in no way shocked or offended by the shade im getting from people who have simply cropped my reply to what actually started this," Ruby wrote. "However I in no way initiated this, nor did I say something that wasnt already written in the ridiculous post. One sided replies dont cut it. However, love and peace to everyone. It is what is it."

Demi has yet to comment.

Nicky Hilton celebrated her 30th birthday with a swanky Las Vegas bash over the weekend. The fashion designer and her big sis Paris partied down with a bevy of friends at XS nightclub, tweeting and Instagraming up a storm on Sunday night.

"What a wonderful weekend celebrating my gorgeous sister @NickyHilton's Birthday! So proud of my sis, look up to her so much. Such a beautiful person both inside & out," Paris tweeted.

Nicky and Paris, who have never been ones for subtly, made an over-the-top entrance, when they, along with their entourage, strutted their stuff down the club's gold staircase and onto the dance floor as the hotspot's model staff lined the way. At the soiree, Nicky had plenty of goodies to munch on, including a four-tiered cake, a Chanel bag birthday cake and "Nicky Hilton" cupcakes. Sounds like some sweet stuff!

Scarlett Johansson Voted Esquire's Sexiest Woman Alive For The Second Time

 

Scarlett Johansson has earned the title of Esquire's sexiest woman alive for the second time (the first was in 2006), and she's the first starlet to earn the honor twice.

Johansson joked with the magazine she's "gotta hustle" because "pretty soon the roles you're offered all become mothers. Then they just sort of stop." She's only 28, so we think she has a few more years before she'll be typecast as the hot mom.

Johansson and French journalist Romain Dauriac announced their engagement last month, and she told the mag that jealousy "comes with the territory" with a Frenchman but she actually likes being a "little jealous" herself. She said, "I didn't think I was a jealous person until I started dating my current, my one-and-only. I think maybe in the past I didn't have the same kind of investment. Not that I liked my partner less, I just wasn't capable of it or caring that much."

Miley Cyrus Hosts SNL, Says Hannah Montana "Has Been Murdered"

Miley Cyrus appeared on Saturday Night Live last night, and the 20-year-old starlet had an interesting run-in with the ghost of her past, who warned her about her scandalous MTV VMA performance.

For her opening monologue, Miley told the audience, "There's a few subjects we're not going to get into tonight ... I'm not going to do Hannah Montana, but I can give you an update on what she's been up to -- she's been murdered." Yikes! So what did she have to say about her VMAs performance?

Miles joked that she had received phone calls from both "angry mothers" and "turned on fathers," and she added, "I don't apologize for my VMA performance. If I owe anybody an apology its the people who make the bottom half of shirts."

Box Office: ‘Gravity’ Soars With Record $55 Million October Launch

In a record-setting debut, Warner Bros.’ 3D space epic “Gravity” scored a starry estimated $55.6 million, of which mega-screen exhib Imax — a significant partner on the film, considering the push the studio gave helmer Alfonso Cuaron’s cutting-edge filmmaking — contributed $11.2 million domestically. Both totals were records for October.

Internationally, “Gravity” estimated $27.4 million from 27 markets, including Russia, which led with $8.1 million, followed by Germany and Australia, each contributing north of $3 million.

The overall three-day domestic gross for “Gravity,” boosted by a whopping 80% from 3D, eclipsed the month’s previous record holder, “Paranormal Acitvity 3,” which earned $52.6 million in 2011. (Interestingly, the 3D share was less overseas, at 70%.)

Halle Berry & Olivier Martinez Welcome a Baby Boy!

Halle Berry gave birth to a healthy baby boy, her first child with husband Olivier Martinez. The birth took place at Cedars Sinai in Los Angeles.

The "X Men" star announced she was expecting her first child with Olivier back in April. This is the second child for the 47-year-old -- who has a 5-year-old daughter, Nahla, with her ex-boyfriend, model Gabriel Aubry.
