Sean Penn opened up about the green card joke heard ‘round the world on Saturday in Beverly Hills during a promotional tour for his new film The Gunman, saying that he has “absolutely no apologies” for his comment. The actor-director also offered up choice words for those who didn’t recognize the irony in his remarks.

On Feb. 22 at the 87th Academy Awards, Penn, tasked with presenting the best picture award, made waves when he opened the envelope and first asked “Who gave this son of a bitch his green card?” before announcing the winner as Birdman.

Directed by the Mexican-born Alejandro Iñárritu, many wondered whether the joke was distasteful. The term “green card” refers to a document that confers permanent residency on immigrants in the United States.

Kelly famously quit the show after her colleague Giuliana Rancic made a controversial remark about Zendaya Coleman's dreadlocks at the Oscars. Osbourne reportedly protested before the clip even aired, and since she's friends with Zendaya, she was livid about the Giuliana's comment, even after the veteran TV presenter apologized.

Apparently Lilo thought having young people "shadow" her while she performed in London last year counted as community service, but the actress' lawyer Shawn Holley noted that this would be addressed immediately. Judge Mark Young extended Lohan's probation for another three months, and a hearing will be held on March 12 to determine what Lohan can do to complete her hours.

Harrison Ford Broke His Pelvis And Ankle In Plane Crash, Spent Hours In Surgery

Harrison Ford broke his pelvis and ankle yesterday when he crash landed his plane on a golf course, reports KTLA.

Ford was reportedly in surgery for four hours after the crash, and late last night his rep said in a statement, "Harrison was flying a WW2 vintage plane today which stalled upon takeoff. He had no other choice but to make an emergency landing, which he did safely. The injuries sustained are not life-threatening, and he is expected to make a full recovery."

Ford's son Ben added, "At the hospital. Dad is ok. Battered, but ok! He is every bit the man you would think he is. He is an incredibly strong man."

The 72-year-old actor was reported to be in "fair to moderate condition," and since then, footage of the scary crash has hit the web. Ford's plane can be seem skimming over the trees on the green, and eyewitnesses on the scene say the star expertly landed the aircraft.

Susan Sarandon and boyfriend Jonathan Bricklin have hit a rough patch, according to reports. Page Six alleges that the 68-year-old actress broke things off with the SPiN New York co-founder, 37, following a disagreement over a reality show.

No, they weren't fighting over whether or not Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Lisa Rinna was too up in Kim Richards's business.

The couple of five years both appeared on AOL's Connected, which features "six personal stories, weaving together the lives and experiences of six New Yorkers in a format that merges the documentary, drama and reality genres."

Bricklin was one of the six New Yorkers who was given a camera to film his life for six months. Apparently, Sarandon grew "increasingly annoyed" with their personal lives being filmed.

"It caused a lot of strain in the relationship," a source told the paper. "It's documented for the show that Susan breaks up with him because she doesn't want to be involved with the show. She says, 'You're a cast member, I'm not.'"

Actor Harrison Ford Injured In Small Plane Crash Near Los Angeles

Actor Harrison Ford was injured on Thursday in the crash of a small airplane outside Los Angeles, celebrity website TMZ reported.

Beverly News could not immediately confirm the report on TMZ, which said that Ford, 72, suffered multiple gashes to his head and was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

"We can confirm that there was a plane crash and the male occupant was a 65-70 years old man. He was transported to a local hospital in stable condition," Los Angeles Police Department spokeswoman Officer Nuria Vanegas said.

"The incident was reported at 2:25 p.m., it was mechanical failure of plane, that's what caused the accident," Vanegas said.

Ford, best known for his roles in such blockbuster films as Star Wars and Raiders of the Lost Ark, is a longtime aviation enthusiast.
