Mary J. Blige Knocks $200,000 Off Massive Bank Debt

 

It pays to be broke ass broke if you're Mary J. Blige's foundation -- a bank just agreed to slash the group's debt by nearly $200,000 sources have confirmed.

According to legal documents, TD Bank reached a settlement with Mary J.'s charitable group -- agreeing to let it pay $125k -- which might not sound like a great deal, until you realize the total tab was a whopping $322,000!

The Mary J. Blige and Steve Stoute Foundation for the Advancement of Women Now was sued last year when it defaulted on a $250k loan. The charity even blamed the bank -- claiming it should've know the group's finances were in shambles.

According to the settlement, the group will pay back $15,000 immediately -- and then make 12 easy payments of $9,166.

Lindsay Lohan showed off her comedy chops when she appeared in a sketch on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon on Thursday night.

In the sketch for a fictional Teen Nick show called "Ew!", the redhead plays a bratty One Direction-loving teenager Stephanie and Jimmy plays an equally annoying, brace-faced teen Lindsay.

At one point, Jimmy says, "Did you see the new Miley Cyrus video? We should do some twerking."

Lindsay replies, "Ew! No. Twerking is so 2-0-1-3. Nowadays is all about scrumping!" And then both "girls" jump to their feet and gyrate proceed to the made up "scrumping" dance.

The pink-loving duo also play a game called "the EW! speed round" where they of hold up cards of random objects or just say words and the other just says, Ew!’, before Lindsay exclaims "cute!" at a picture of Dustin Hoffman.

Kristen Stewart's ex-boyfriend has rebounded with another young woman with A-list roots: Dylan Penn, the daughter of Sean Penn and ex-wife Robin Wright.

Us Weekly can confirm the rumors that Pattinson, 27, has been seeing the pretty blonde model, 22, for about two months.

Penn even recently visited the British star on the set of one of his films, one source told Us. The pair were seen together as recently as Wednesday, Sept. 25, where they stayed extra close at Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood. The Twilight Saga star and Penn were "canoodling" as they hung out with a group of friends, an observer tells Us, adding, "He was affectionate with her and they seemed comfortable."

Dylan is the eldest child of Oscar-winner Sean, 53, and Wright, 47. The actors divorced in 2010 after 14 years together, and also share son Hopper, 20.

Khloe Kardashian is set to SELL the Tarzana mansion she's shared with Lamar Odom for the past four years.

The real estate agent on his way to Khloe's neighborhood told sources, "I'm going to meet with Khloe right now, but I'm not sure if Lamar is going to be there or not." The realtor added that Khloe plans on listing the house for $3 million, and his commission will be $100,000. They will be selling it nearly $1 million less than what they paid for it, it looks like Khloe is really looking to unload the place -- and quickly!

Today is the duo's four-year wedding anniversary, but given that she's putting her pad on the market (and dropping the Odom from her online handles), it looks like these two are definitely headed for divorce.

The couple purchased the 8,347-square-foot home in December 2009 for $3.95 million, and it has 7 bedrooms and 9 bathrooms. The home sits on .75 acres of land on a gated cul-de-sac, and it has a lush lawn, a large pool, parking for up to 15 cars and according to listing information, it's "one of the finest homes in Mulholland Park!"

Lamar Odom's attorney, Richard Hutton, appeared in court this morning and was able to request a continuance to move the NBA star's D.U.I. arraignment date to October 10.

Odom was arrested on August 30 when California Highway Patrol pulled him over for driving under the speed limit, and they also observed that his Mercedes-Benz SUV was traveling in a “serpentine manner.” Odom was later charged with a misdemeanor count of driving under the influence, and he could face up to six months in jail and a $1,000 fine if convicted.

Still no word on whether Robert Shapiro is still planning on working with Khloe Kardashian's estranged hubby.

Richard Hutton also represented Amanda Bynes for her D.U.I. cases, so he clearly has plenty of experience.

The rapper went on an all-caps meltdown mode on Twitter, ripping Kimmel for the jab, saying things like, "JIMMY KIMMEL PUT YOURSELF IN MY SHOES ... OH NO THAT MEANS YOU WOULD HAVE GOTTEN TOO MUCH GOOD P**** IN YOUR LIFE..."

Tina Fey Spoofs Emmys Wardrobe Malfunction In "SNL" Promos

Tina Fey seems to be embracing the mantra that says the best way to get over an embarrassing situation is to laugh about it.

That's what the "30 Rock" star is doing, at least when it comes to handling her recent wardrobe malfunction at Sunday's Primetime Emmy Awards. Fey apparently suffered a "nip slip" as she accepted the best comedy writing award alongside Tracey Wigfield during the ceremony.

But suffering an embarrassing moment in front of millions of TV viewers isn't going to stop Fey, 43, from poking fun at the accidental exposure.

In a series of promos with "Saturday Night Live" star Kenan Thompson, Fey promises viewers she won't have another Emmys-style malfunction when she hosts the sketch show's upcoming season 39 premiere.

"It's under control," Fey says, as she raises her arms, revealing her blurred-out bare chest beneath her blazer.

"Forgot my shirt," she adds, as Thompson looks on wide-eyed.

Fey is no stranger to "Saturday Night Live." She served as head writer of the series from 1999 to 2006. The season premiere of "SNL" airs Sept. 28 on NBC, with Fey as host. Arcade Fire will serve as the night's musical guest.

Gretchen Rossi And Alexis Bellino FIRED From Real Housewives of Orange County

Gretchen Rossi and Alexis Bellino have reportedly been asked not to return for the ninth season of The Real Housewives of Orange County.

Rossi joined the hit Bravo series in season four and Bellino in season five, and though they were friends initially, they started fighting in season seven. Despite trying to patch things up last season, the ladies were at each others' throats again earlier this spring in a heated Twitter battle.

"Alexis and Gretchen were fired," a source tells Us Weekly. "They just had run their course. Gretchen has been on the show a long time, and it was the same old story." Ouch!

Remaining cast members include Vicki Gunvalson, Tamra Judge, Heather Dubrow, and Lydia McLaughlin.

No talks on who will replace them.

Miley Cyrus Reveals The Moment She Knew Her Engagement Was Over

 

Valentine's Day is usually a day for celebrating love with a significant other - but not for Miley Cyrus, who said that was the day she knew she and former fiance Liam Hemsworth were done.

Cyrus spoke with Fashion Magazine for its November issue, which hits newsstands Oct. 7, and said her new song "Drive" was written about Hemsworth in February, months before their split in September.

"I wrote ["Drive"] while I was working on Valentine's Day-emotionally it was such a hard time," she told the magazine. "It is about needing to leave someone but not really wanting to completely cut yourself off from the relationship," she added. "It's a time when you want to leave but you can't. It's also about moving on."

And move on she eventually did.

The original home was designed in 1951 by Burton Schutt and previously owned by socialite Marion Jorgensen and her steel magnate husband Earle, and for many years we were wondering what sort of structure Mr. Bay was planning on erecting. Now Curbed reports that he has hired the Florida-based Oppenheim Architecture + Design to build this 30,000-square-foot modern marvel, and construction is nearly complete!

According to the designer's website, the house has "a large theater, movie prop museum, parking, spa and bedrooms" while "two master bedroom modules hover above." There is a massive fireplace in one of the living rooms, and one of the pools is built right into the side of the house.

Richard Gere and wife Carey Lowell have separated after eleven years of marriage, reports claim.

"They'll do everything possible to keep things amicable and put their child first," a source tells People. The couple are parents to son Homer. They wed in 2002 after seven years of dating, but have reportedly been living apart for some time.

They were last seen together in June at a fundraiser in New York City.

Samuel L. Jackson on Obama: ‘Be a Leader. Be F--king Presidential’

Samuel L. Jackson has some harsh words for President Barack Obama.

“Be a leader. Be fucking presidential,” Jackson told Playboy magazine in a wide-ranging interview on his career and political beliefs.

The “Pulp Fiction” star donated $2,500 to the president’s re-election campaign, but he seems particularly incensed by Obama’s attempts to come off as a “common man” by dropping the g’s in his speeches and public statements and adapting a folksy tone.

“Look, I grew up in a society where I could say ‘It ain’t’ or ‘What it be’ to my friends,” Jackson told the magazine. “But when I’m out presenting myself to the world as me, who graduated from college, who had family who cared about me, who has a well-read background, I fucking conjugate.”

When it came to partisan gridlock in Washington, D.C., Jackson thought that Republicans were responding defensively to the possibility of a second President Clinton.

“If Hillary Clinton decides to run, she’s going to kick their fucking asses, and those motherfuckers would rather see the country go down in flames than let the times change,” Jackson said.

On a happier note, he’d be open to the possibility of playing Mace Windu in the new “Star Wars” trilogy. So even if the country goes to hell, there’s that to look forward to.

Justin Timberlake Performs Concert For Jimmy Kimmel

Justin Timberlake treated fans to a mini concert last night on Hollywood Blvd. despite being under the weather, and the Grammy winner made sure to play all the hits for the massive crowd that gathered to watch him perform.

The show was for a Jimmy Kimmel Live! outdoor concert series, and the chart topper belted out some of his best songs like "Mirrors" and "Take Back The Night" in an effort to promote the second part of his album The 20/20 Experience.

Britney Spears' Vegas Show Rundown

There are conflicting reports out about ticket sales for Britney Spears' Vegas concerts -- some are saying sales are disastrously poor ... Britney's people are saying "it's the best-selling show in the history of Vegas."

Britney will be performing 48 shows a year for the next 2 years at Planet Hollywood Las Vegas and according to the contract. Tickets are available now for the first 16 shows.

For the first 16 shows ... a total of 73,600 tickets were up for sale. The number of tickets actually sold are impressive -- 70,242. 

Of the available, remaining, 3,358 tickets, 2,887 are in the nosebleed section.

Sources have have said they're actually talking about adding more shows, and if that happens Britney will make more than the $15 million a year she's already guaranteed.

Lamar Odom is finally breaking his silence to rip his own father to shreds for claiming that Khloe Kardashian and her mother drove Lamar into crack addiction -- and he's also acknowledging, for the first time, he's in a "dark" place.

In the scathing message Lamar says, "How can a man who has NOT once called me to check on my well being have the nerve to talk so recklessly about his own 'son'. He is my downfall!"

Lamar's angry letter, posted on Twitter, is a response to a published interview with Lamar's father, Joe Odom, in which he claimed the Kardashians cursed Lamar, ruined his career, and put so much pressure on him that he turned to drugs.

Geraldo Rivera SUED Over Fox News Deal

Geraldo is being sued for allegedly stiffing his longtime talent agent who claims to have negotiated a great deal with Fox News Network.

According to the lawsuit, the William Morris Endeavor Agency represented Geraldo for nearly a quarter of a century, guiding him "as he rose from news correspondent to a household name."

The suit claims William Morris renegotiated Geraldo's Fox deal a few years back -- a deal that ran through 2011, but Geraldo allegedly just stopped paying the 10% commission 2 years before the deal ended.

The bottom line is, Geraldo doesn't like his agent, which puts him in one of the most non-exclusive clubs in America.

After many false starts and potential cancelations, filming on ‘Dumb and Dumber 2‘ has begun and star Jim Carrey has revealed the first shot from the set featuring him and co-star Jeff Daniels back as Harry and Lloyd.

Just over 24 hours after Jeff Daniels upset ‘Breaking Bad‘ star Bryan Cranston to win the Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series at the 2013 Emmy Awards, he and Carrey are back as the dumb duo on the set of ‘Dumb and Dumber 2′ in Los Angeles. And they look as stupid as ever.

The two are holding a copy of Carrey’s new children’s book ‘How Roland Rolls’ (not-so-coincidentally in book stores today) but, as expected, are doing it all wrong.

Kim Kardashian has a baby and all of a sudden she’s a completely different person.

And it seems like she’s actually a good mom. Sources say she wants to keep her new baby North West away from the cameras and the “circus” that is "Keeping Up With The Kardashian's".

“You won’t be seeing North even once on the new season,” says a source who is close to the family. “Kim decided no way is she going to be part of this circus.”

And what’s even more interesting is that Kim herself is trying to stay under the radar now, scaling back her participation in the show and trying to break away from the image she’s made. Now that she’s with Kanye West, her attitude has changed, and she wants to be high fashion (think more Vogue parties and less vampire facials.)

Keyshawn Johnson Is ELIMINATED From "Dancing With the Stars"

 

Former NFL player Keyshawn Johnson was the first celebrity eliminated in season 17 of ABC’s “Dancing With the Stars” tonight.

Based on their performances last week plus their audience votes, comedian Bill Engvall and Johnson were both in the bottom two, putting them in jeopardy of being eliminated.

Johnson had the second-lowest judges’ score of the night last week for his cha-cha. Bill Nye, who had the lowest judges’ score of that night, also for a cha-cha, was safe from elimination tonight.

Elimination is decided based on combined judges’ and viewer votes. The audience votes from last week and tonight were combined with the judges’ scores from tonight’s performance, and the star with the lowest overall total was sent home.

When he learned he was going home, Johnson said he was happy to have had the experience.

Breaking Bad, Modern Family and Behind The Candelabra Win Big At The Emmy's

Michael Douglas and Matt Damon kicked off the evening with multiple wins for their HBO movie Behind the Candelabra -- the Liberace biopic -- taking prizes for Best Miniseries or Movie; Douglas winning Best Lead Actor; and Best Directing at the 65th Primetime Emmy Awards.

Audience favorite, Breaking Bad didn't fare as well as hoped -- missing out on both Lead and Support Actor Emmys and Best Directing and Writing for a Drama Series. Homeland won for Best Directing and Claire Danes won the Emmy for Best Actress in a Drama Series. Jeff Daniels beat out Bad;s Bryan Cranston and Kevin Spacey in House of Cards to take Best Actor in a Drama for Newsroom.

Meanwhile, David Fincher took the prize for Best Directing, for the Netflix breakthrough series.

Breaking Bad's Anna Gunn did take the prize for Best Supporting Actress in a Drama Series and as the final prize of the evening, it won Best Drama.

ABC's Modern Family picked up Best Comedy Series for the fourth consecutive year. Yawn....

Stanley Tucci Is SELLING His Upstate New York Home For $1.85 Million

Stanley Tucci, who is married to Emily Blunt's sister, purchased the five-bedroom, four-bathroom country retreat back in 2005. Situated on a six-acre lot, the home has been expanded from the original country house built in 1775 and has much of its rural charm. The expanded house has restored flooring, and original stone fireplaces and beams.

Other features in the 5,405-square-foot estate include light-filled living spaces with vaulted ceilings, contemporary kitchen with marble counter tops and a home gym. The impressive backyard has a pool, a guest house and direct access to a 383-acre nature preserve.

Tucci is set to star in the film The Fifth State, alongside Benedict Cumberbatch and out Oct. 18. The actor reprise his role as Caeser Flickerman in the Hunger Games' eagerly awaited sequel, Catching Fire, which is in theaters on November 22.

Michael Douglas won Outstanding Lead Actor in a Miniseries or Movie, and thanked his on-screen partner Matt Damon in a hilarious acceptance speech full of sexual innuendo (they played gay lovers in "Behind the Candelabra").

He later thanked his estranged wife Catherine Zeta Jones and made a plea for his son Cameron Douglas, who is in solitary confinement without social visits until 2018 after failing prison drug tests.

Jeanie Buss Describes The ‘Betrayal’ She Felt After The Lakers Hired Mike D’Antoni Over Her Fiancée, Phil Jackson

The Los Angeles Lakers stunned the NBA when they hired former Nuggets, Suns and Knicks coach Mike D’Antoni to lead the team on a full-time basis 10 games into the 2012-13 season. D’Antoni’s candidacy and ascension weren’t exactly stunning; he was the 2005 NBA Coach of the Year and the head coach in Phoenix when Laker guard Steve Nash won MVP trophies in 2005 and 2006. Rather, it was his selection over two-time Laker head coach and 12-time (including playing career) champion Phil Jackson as Laker sage.

Jackson had seemed not only fit for the job, despite the uneasy circumstances following the team’s 1-4 start under Mike Brown, but the front-runner in spite of his contentious relationship with Laker executive vice president of player personnel and part owner Jim Buss. Jackson’s then-girlfriend and eventual fiancée Jeanie Buss is the Lakers’ executive vice president of business operations, and in an excerpt from her new book published in the Los Angeles Times, she describes her “stunned” reaction to the hire of D’Antoni, and the “betrayal” she felt at his hiring over Jackson:

There was no discussion of money at the meeting or any of the supposed demands by Phil that were later erroneously reported in the media. Looking back, I wonder where the media was getting its information. Someone was talking.

As Jim and Mitch were preparing to leave, Phil got in the last word, telling them, "I'm going to consider this but I have to check with some people," meaning he had to get cleared by his doctors and talk to his family.

This could be a life-changing decision. He wasn't going to just say, "Okay, where's the contract?" He was retired and they had just dropped a bombshell on him. He needed a little time to think it over. So they agreed to talk again on Monday morning.

Jim and Mitch made it very clear they were still going to talk to other people. During that weekend, they spoke to both Mike D'Antoni and Mike Dunleavy.

Phil understood that. He wasn't pleading for the job, and they weren't negotiating yet....

While Kim Kardashian is missing in action, Miley Cyrus is stepping in as an honorary Kardashian sister.

The singer hanged out with Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian and Kendall and Kylie Jenner Saturday night in Las Vegas following her iHeartRadio Music Festival performance. The five girls even looked like they coordinated their black and white outfits, albeit Miley's stood out slightly from the crowd. The racy star was practically naked in a sheer fishnet dress worn over nothing but nipple pasties and panties.

Ex-Patriots Star Brian Holloway Neighbors Call B.S. On House-Trashing

The plot thickens in the story of ex-New England Patriots player Brian Holloway -- who went ballistic after his New York home was trashed by a horde of rowdy, drunken teen vandals. Turns out the house was already in disrepair and in FORECLOSURE, and his neighbors smell a rat.

Sources say  Holloway owes a whopping $1,006,348.80 on the house, and it appears he was delinquent on paying his mortgage and the bank then demanded payment of the entire balance.

Brian hasn't lived in the home for a long time -- he's in Florida -- and neighbors tell us they thought the house was abandoned. In fact, before the blow-out bash, neighbors say kids staged a number of parties in the house -- which has no furniture.

Neighbors think the kids who Brian is now attacking are getting a bad rap. They say there was already plenty of damage to the home before the party in question -- broken doors and damaged floors.  And ... there was plenty of preexisting graffiti covering the walls.

Some neighbors are suspicious of Brian's motive in requesting financial help to pay for repairs on his PayPal account. They think he's trying to create sympathy so money floods in and he can save his house.

Brian says there was some preexisting damage, but the 300 hooligans really trashed his crib.  He also says he's been trying to renegotiate with the bank for 2 years.

The foreclosure sale is set for Oct. 29.

Box Office: ‘Prisoners’ Makes $21.4 Million On Opening Weekend

Warner Bros.’ kidnapping drama “Prisoners” walked away with a solid $21.4 million Stateside opening. Pic, from Alcon Entertainment, fell in line with pre-weekend expectations.

“Prisoners” opened wide this weekend at 3,260 locations.

The Hugh Jackman, Jake Gyllenhaal film, premiered at the Telluride Film Festival and received an ‘A-’ CinemaScore rating. Not surprisingly, an overwhelming 72% of the R-rated pic’s opening came from auds over 25, though the film saw an even split between the genders.

"About Last Night" -- Trailer FIRST LOOK!

"About Last Night" is an upcoming romantic comedy-drama film directed by Steve Pink and starring Kevin Hart, Michael Ealy, Regina Hall, and Joy Bryant. It is based on the 1974 David Mamet play Sexual Perversity in Chicago and a remake of the 1986 film of the same name. The film is scheduled for release on Valentine's Day, February 14, 2014.
