Wyclef Jean SQUANDERED Haitian Relief Funds

Less than a third of the $16 million gathered in 2010 by hip-hop star Wyclef Jean for earthquake relief in Haiti actually made it to emergency efforts in the country, the New York Post reported Sunday.

According to the exclusive report, Jean’s charity, Yele Haiti, doled out millions in questionable contracts -- in fact, $1 million was paid to a Florida firm that doesn’t seem to exist.

The Post also reported that a company called P&A Construction – which is run by Warnel Pierre, Jean’s brother-in-law -- received $353,983 from the group.

Founded in 2005 with his cousin Jerry Duplessis, Jean’s charity was troubled before Haiti’s disastrous January 2010 earthquake struck. In 2008, it was revealed that the organization had never filed required tax forms detailing its spending to the IRS.

Lady Gaga Sends Personal Thank-You Video To Fan For His Anti-Bullying Efforts

Lady Gaga is a well-known advocate for anti-bullying; in fact she takes the cause so seriously, she sent a personalized thank-you video to a 17-year-old fan who organized an assembly at his high school in Toronto.

The pop star replied to an email from the teen, with a link to download this video to show at his school rally. She told her "Little Monster" Jacques St. Pierre:
"I just wanted to tell you how proud I am of you for being such a strong advocate of the LGBT community in your school. There should be more little monsters like you ... My father always saves all the fan letters that I receive and I read yours and wanted to send this video to you. It is important that we push the boundaries of love and acceptance."

It's OFFICIAL: Batman is Hanging Up His Tights

For over 70 years, the criminals of Gotham City -- widely regarded as a superstitious and cowardly lot -- have been kept in check by the vigilante known as Batman. But that's about to come to a stop, as the Caped Crusader has officially announced his retirement.

At least, this version of Batman: Confirming long-standing rumors, Christian Bale revealed in an interview with The Philippine Daily Enquirer that "The Dark Knight Rises" will be the final Batman movie for both himself and director Christopher Nolan.

Not that the announcement is unexpected; after all, with "the Dark Knight Rises," which just finished shooting for a July 20, 2012 release, Bale and Nolan will have made their third Batman film in the past seven years.

Still, considering how successful the franchise has been -- 2008's "The Dark Knight" earned over a billion dollars worldwide by itself -- both fans and executives at Warner Bros. can be forgiven for hoping they would keep at it for a long time to come.

No such luck, according to Bale.
