Venus Williams Lists Hollywood Hills Home For $1.7 Million

Venus Williams has put her Hollywood Hills home on the market for $1.7 million, which is $100,000 less than what she paid for it in 2005. But seeing as she has an estimated net worth of $60 million, this isn't that big of a loss for her.

Leonardo DiCaprio Chats With Ellen DeGeneres About The Wolf Of Wall Street And Surviving A Deadly Shark Encounter

Leonardo DiCaprio makes an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Tuesday, and the 39-year-old actor chats about shooting The Wolf Of Wall Street and (gasp!) getting stuck IN a cage with a great white shark.

On shooting the scene in which Jonah Hill's character hurls ham onto his face, Leo tells Ellen:

    "I appreciate that and it all resulted in this insane sequence in the end where Jonah decides to stuff ham into his mouth as well and crashes into a plate glass table and we were doing this CPR sequence and you know the big challenge that day we had to do 70 takes because they couldn't get this ham to stick on my face and they had to put K-Y Jelly and there's literally a guy there behind this giant window with a plastic spoon just flicking ham on my face all day long as I'm doing this insane sequence. But it was almost, it was one of the most surreal things I've ever done in my entire career."

Lindsey Vonn Pulls Out Of Winter Olympics Due To Knee Injury

Olympic skier Lindsey Vonn just announced she will no longer be competing in the upcoming Sochi Winter Olympics due to a right knee injury.

"An MRI showed an MCL sprain, which coupled with the torn ACL, has made it impossible to stabilize her knee and be ready to safely ski again next month," said her publicist in a statement this morning.

On Dec. 21 in Val d' Isere, France, Vonn reinjured her right knee. The Olympian has been plagued with knee injuries over the past year -- she tore the anterior cruciate ligament and medial collateral ligament in her knee last February and then partially tore the same ACL in November. The competition in Val d' Isere was the 29-year-old's second World Cup stop since the injuries.

"Vonn will have surgery shortly and is expected to make a full recovery in time for the 2014/15 World Cup season and the 2015 World Alpine Ski Championships in Vail-Beaver Creek," the statement said.

"In looking ahead, I have every ounce of confidence that Lindsey will be in the starting gate next World Cup season ready to compete," said Bill Marolt, president of the U.S. Skiing and Snowboard Association.

The news is sure to come as quite a blow to the gold medalist. Tiger Woods' main squeeze She has won four overall World Cup championships with three consecutive titles in 2008, 2009, and 2010, and then again in 2012. At the 2010 Winter Olympics, Vonn came home with the gold medal in downhill skiing. The sports star has also won six consecutive World Cup season titles in the downhill (2008–2013), four consecutive titles in Super G (2009–2012), and three consecutive titles in the combined (2010–2012).

The 2014 Winter Olympics will occur in Sochi, Russia from Feb. 7-23.

Charlie Sheen Tells Ashton Kutcher To "Quit Barfing" On 'Two and a Half Men'

The tiger claws are coming out! Charlie Sheen took a jab at Ashton Kutcher -- his replacement on CBS' hit sitcom Two and a Half Men -- on Monday, Jan. 6 via Twitter.

"Hey Ashton," wrote the Anger Management star. "Sorry bro all good now quit barfing on my old brilliant show."

48-year-old Sheen continued, "Remember Punk'd? how duz it feel?" (Punk'd was a hidden-camera, prank show that aired on MTV from 2003-2012, which Kutcher, 35, created, produced and hosted.)

The unpredictable actor's insult followed an initial tweet just one day before, where he gave a warm shout-out to his former Two and a Half Men colleague, Jon Cryer. "Hey Jon!!! u r a GENIUS!!! I effin love and MISS YOU old pal!" said the social media-happy star. His tweet was a drastic improvement from 2011, when Sheen called Cryer a "troll" and a "traitor" in an interview.

He completed his tweet Sunday with a jab at Kutcher and wrote, "Q; who's your lame sidekick? c #NiceTryCanonBoy." The FX star's hashtag was in reference to Kutcher's endorsement deal with camera company Nikon -- not Canon. 

Kutcher has yet to respond to the tweets.

Eva Longoria Named Maxim's Woman Of The Year

 
Eva Longoria has been named Maxim's woman of the year, and the 38-year-old actress told the mag, "It's especially awesome after how long it's been since my first cover. I've had a beautiful relationship with Maxim over all these years … When someone sees the cover of this issue, they're going to say, '¡Que rico!' … Say it when something is really good."

Sounds like it's really good! As far as we know, Eva isn't dating anyone, but it sounds like she could be ready to settle back down again. "One thing people are usually surprised about when they get to know me is how domestic I am," she tells the mag. "So when you see the sexy Maxim cover and then you put it against me in an apron with flour in my hair, it takes a moment to reconcile that image."

The former Desperate Housewives star recently received her master's degree in Chicano Studies from Cal State Northridge, and she reveals that she's always worn several hats. "Back in high school I really was the chameleon, too," she says. "I got along with the honors math club, then I would go to cheer-leading practice, and then I was a band geek as well."

Drew Barrymore Opens Up About "Complicated" Relationship With Her Mom: "We Can't Really Be In Each Other's Lives"

Drew Barrymore covers the new issue of Marie Claire, and while she gushes about life as a mom, the interview takes a sober turn with the 38-year-old actress discusses her estrangement from her mother Jaid.

"Ugh, I mean, my relationship with my mom is so complicated," she tells the mag. "I've always been empathetic toward my mom, and I was even more so when I had a kid and we had a really amazing conversation about it. However, [becoming a mom] hasn't enabled me to lessen the distance. It's the hardest subject in my life. I've never just been angry with her. I've always felt guilt and empathy and utter sensitivity. But we can’t really be in each other's lives at this point."

"When I was a kid, everything was so unplanned, my parents were so erratic, and my world was so inconsistent," she continued. "I was 14 when I moved into my own apartment. I was so scared. I didn’t know anything. I didn’t know you had to throw food out when it rotted in the fridge. I was convinced someone was going to crawl through my window. I would go to the Laundromat and sit there reading Anne Sexton, Sylvia Plath."

The former child star famously entered rehab at the age of 14, after which she successfully petitioned for juvenile emancipation from her parents. "I hated growing up alone. I hated it. I don't f*ck anyone over. My friends are the loves my life."

On a lighter note, Drew says she's thankful for the joy hubby Will Kopelman has brought into her life, and when asked about marrying into his family, she says, “I didn’t think I would ever get to experience that. This is so safe and positive and healthy because they have their values intact. It was huge for me. And that’s what I want for my family.”

So will the couple stop after two kids? “I think I’d like to have more," Drew says. "In the back of my head, I’m already timing if I was to have another when that would occur.”

Michelle Obama is spending the last, fleeting days of her 40s at Oprah's palatial Maui estate -- law enforcement sources have confirmed.

The First Lady -- who turns 50 next Friday -- stayed behind when her husband went back to the Oval Office.  She island hopped from Oahu to Maui ... and went directly to Oprah's 12-bedroom spread.

A photog on the island says... Michelle will have company, as in Oprah.

Sources say security on the island is airtight, with SWAT teams and just about every other resource securing wide perimeters around Michelle. 

It's truly a lady's vacation.  Sasha and Malia went back with dad.

Box Office: ‘Frozen’ Storms Past ‘Paranormal Activity’ Spin-Off To Top Box Office

On a weekend in which much of the nation was shivering through bitter winter weather, it seems somehow right that “Frozen” was the No. 1 movie at the box office.

The animated musical blasted past snowstorms and the new horror film “Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones” to take in $20.7 million and knock “The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug” out of the top spot it had held for the past three weekends.

Disney’s 3D family film is still going strong in its sixth week of wide release and has rung up nearly $300 million domestically since just before Thanksgiving, and more than $600 million worldwide. It’s the second-highest grossing Disney Animation release of all-time, behind only “The Lion King.”
