Sofia Vergara Slaps Jimmy Kimmel After He Reads An Insulting Internet Comment About Her

Sofia Vergara slapped the messenger! The 41-year old Modern Family vixen appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! last night and things got heated as the two took turns reading Internet troll comments about each other aloud.

It started off relatively harmless with your typical "I don't like Kimmel" comments and Sofia Vergara "has a more annoying voice than Fran Drescher" (kinda true, sorry Sofia), but the Golden Globe-nominated beauty "snapped" when Jimmy read one particularly insulting comment about her.

NBC Highlights Ann Curry’s Reporting From Africa After Reports She’s Out

NBC wants you to know that Ann Curry remains very much on the job: She’s reporting from the Central African Republic, a region many fear is on the brink of genocide.

In a striking contrast of First World and Third World problems, Curry is the subject of recent reports that NBC isn’t planning to renew her contract even as she covers a human rights crisis.

NBC has denied the reports. But nothing speaks louder than an international assignment to cover legitimate news.

Curry is aggressively covering the crisis, filing reports and tweeting about camps of displaced people, a little girl lost in a camp of 100,000 people, and women waiting in a Doctors without Borders clinic.

In one of her reports, Amy Martin, head of the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs in CAR, described the region as “like Darfur, plus anarchy.”

Curry’s future with the network has been in question since she was dismissed from co-hosting “Today” in 2012.

Miley has just been signed as the face for the fashion label, and the other day she tweeted a picture of herself wearing MJ's pro-gay marriage t-shirt with the caption, “Jacobs by Marc by Marc Jacobs.” Miley has worn tons of Marc's stuff over the years, so we think this is the perfect fit! But what we're dying to know is if she'd ever do her own collaboration with him ... there's definitely a market for it!

Kelly Osbourne And Matthew Mosshart End Their Engagement

Kelly Osbourne and Matthew Mosshart have ended their engagement.

A rep for the Fashion Police host said in a statement:

    "Kelly Osbourne and Matthew Mosshart have decided to end their engagement. The split is amicable and the pair continue to have nothing but the utmost respect for one another. Kelly is looking forward to a new year full of fresh beginnings. No further comments will be provided by all parties and we request privacy, decorum and space from the press but don't expect it."

Kelly tweeted on Wednesday, "its all about perception sometimes the bad things that happen in life aren't really bad at all especially when you learn something from it!" Wonder if it was a mutual decision? Guess we'll never know...

The couple met in the summer of 2011 at Kate Moss's wedding, and Mosshart proposed in Anguilla in July of 2013.

Dennis Rodman Apologizes For Bae Comments

Dennis Rodman apologized Thursday for comments about captive American missionary Kenneth Bae in an interview with CNN.

A day after the former basketball star sang "Happy Birthday" to North Korean leader Kim Jong Un and led a squad of former NBA players in a friendly game, Rodman issued the apology through publicist Jules Feiler in an email message to The Associated Press.

"I want to apologize," Rodman said. "I take full responsibility for my actions. It had been a very stressful day. Some of my teammates were leaving because of pressure from their families and business associates. My dreams of basketball diplomacy was quickly falling apart. I had been drinking. It's not an excuse but by the time the interview happened I was upset. I was overwhelmed. It's not an excuse, it's just the truth.

"I want to first apologize to Kenneth Bae's family. I want to apologize to my teammates and my management team. I also want to apologize to Chris Cuomo. I embarrassed a lot of people. I'm very sorry. At this point I should know better than to make political statements. I'm truly sorry."

Rodman has been slammed for not using his influence with Kim to help free Bae, the missionary in poor health who is being confined in the North for "anti-state" crimes. On CNN on Tuesday, Rodman implied Bae was at fault.

Supposed Couple Matt Kemp and Khloe Kardashian Has Supposedly Broken Up

 

Just two weeks ago, it seemed like there was hope for love in America. Shortly after filing for divorce from Lamar Odom, news emerged that Khloe Kardashian might be an item with Dodgers outfielder Matt Kemp. (Or were they just friends?! The plot thickened.)

Evidently — or at least according to sources that spoke to US Weekly and were excerpted by The Daily Mail – Khloe’s lawyers put the kibosh on the whole thing because it would’ve looked bad for their client in her aforementioned divorce proceedings.

Jane Lynch Settles Divorce Case

Jane Lynch has settled her divorce case, and sources say, it was really civilized.

Jane's wife, psychologist Dr. Lara Embry -- repped by attorney Susan Wiesner -- wanted a pound of flesh -- as in $93K a month in spousal support.

Jane and Lara were married in 2010, but it was not to last ... Jane -- who's repped by disso-queen Laura Wasser -- filed for divorce in July, citing "irreconcilable differences."

Sources close to the former couple say Lara didn't get close to the $93K she wanted, but did get something. We're told Jane got the house ... which is only fair since she paid for it.

Now that the case is settled ... we're told Jane and Lara are on "very civilized" terms ... even spending time with each other over the holidays.

If divorce can have a happy ending ... this is it.
