Hitmaking '80s R&B star Vesta Williams, who often went by just Vesta, has reportedly been found dead in Los Angeles.
Several bottles of prescription pills were found by her bedside in the El Segundo, CA hotel room where she stayed and died. Sources say the death is being treated as either an accident or suicide, but not a homicide.
The coroner won't know if drugs played a part in her death until the toxicology reports are in -- and that could take 6 weeks.
She was 53 years old.
