The former "Real Housewives of New York" star woke up on Valentine's Day to a breakup — the cancellation of her daytime talk show.
Telepictures Prods. announced it won't be bringing "Bethenny" back for a
second season. "While we are disappointed not to be able to bring the
series back for a second season, we remain convinced that Bethenny has a
unique voice and that she will continue to be successful in the
future," a spokesperson for the company told Yahoo.
"I had a blast doing this show
with Telepictures," Frankel said in a statement. "My entire staff worked
so hard and made everyday so much fun. I am thankful for the experience
and for all my fans who tuned in every day."
This is just the latest in a
series of setbacks for the reality star. A few weeks ago, beverage
company Beam reported that sales of Skinnygirl Cocktails (which Frankel
created and sold to them) plummeted 26 percent last year. That's in stark contrast to double-digit growth of the company's other brands, like Knob Creek and Pinnacle.
