Jennifer Lopez Leaves A Hollywood Nightclub After Checking Out The Competition

Last night, Jennifer Lopez appeared to be in good spirits after leaving Hollywood hotspot Avalon after a night of checking out some performances and partying. She can still hang with the best of 'em!

The 45-year-old entertainer was on hand to catch rising stars Iggy Azalea and Rita Ora perform their hit Black Widow as part of a pre-MTV Video Music Awards concert sponsored by Time Warner Cable and Lifeboat. No doubt she also witnessed Iggy's unfortunate fall during her Fancy performance, but showed love for her younger counterparts afterwards.

"We dem girls...fun watching these two cuties perform tonight, @ritaora @thenewclassic @jlo #Booty #blackwidow," Lopez wrote in an Instagram post along with a photo of the three backstage.

Meg Ryan and John Mellencamp Breakup

 

Meg Ryan and John Mellencamp began dating more than three years ago. 

However, the actress and the musician called it quits recently. Their long-distance relationship -- Ryan is based in New York City while Mellencamp lives in Indiana -- proved to be too taxing for the couple. 

Ryan, 52, and Mellencamp, 62, were first photographed together at the start of 2011, not long after the rocker split from his wife of 18 years, Elaine Irwin. In the years that followed, they were sometimes photographed together in Manhattan, with Mellencamp even spotted holding hands with Ryan's 8-year-old daughter, Daisy. However, last year, he told Rolling Stone, "I'm not leaving Indiana. I'm going to die here."

"I'm too sensitive to live [in New York City]," he said. "I can't see poor people. I can't see the suffering. I can't see the trash on the streets."

The selling point of the home is the state-of-the-art security system, which can be accessed from a computer or smart phone.

Katie Holmes just purchased this Calabasas home for $3.7 million after relocating from New York to California with daughter Suri.

The 6,200 square-foot estate is described as an "extensively customized Grand European Manor" and boasts 5 bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms, as well formal living and dining rooms, a guesthouse, pool, fire pit, outdoor kitchenette, and a sports court. The house sits on a half acre of gated property.

The abode is located in The Oaks, which is a gated community where neighbors include Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian, Katherine Jackson, Toni Braxton, and Lil' Romeo.

"She just wants him to be happy."

Last week it was revealed that Gwynnie and Glee co-creator Brad Falchuk were dating, so it looks like everyone's moving on. Julianne Hough will return to “Dancing With the Stars” as a new judge this season.

Hough, who won two mirror ball trophies as a professional dancer on the show, will take up a permanent spot at the judges’ table next to longtime panelists Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli, and the show’s head judge, Len Goodman, she revealed today in a live appearance on “Good Morning America.”

"I’m excited,” Hough said on "GMA." "'Dancing With the Stars' has always been a part of my family. That’s where it all began for me, so .... It just felt like the right time and the right opportunity."
