After news broke that Celine Dion was selling her Jupiter Island, Florida estate for a whopping $72 million, she's listed her 24,000-square-foot Montreal home for $28 million.
The six bedroom, six bathroom home is located on a private island measuring over 830,000 square feet, and the singer is also selling all of the furniture inside. Dion and husband Rene Angelil designed the pad, and though it was built in 2001, the couple have only stayed there twice in the last two years. Dion moved to Los Angeles after signing a ten-year, $100 million residency deal to perform at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas.
The home is accessed by a private gated bridge with security post, and according to listing info, "a helipad can be created to make access by air possible." The main floor features a formal living room and dining room and a custom la Cornue kitchen, and up the winding staircase on the second level there are several bedrooms. The third story houses a guest bedroom and a home gym, and on the lower level, there is a game room and a vaulted stone wine cellar with a tasting room.
