Just when you thought all of these rape and sexual abuse allegations that've been brought against Bill Cosby couldn't get any worse, Hugh Hefner -- a long-time friend of Cosby's, and the Playboy dude, -- has spoken out against the things that seem to be mounting against Bill, and it doesn't sound good at all.
During a recent interview, Hefner was asked about the rape claims piling up and gathering steam throughout the years. Hef said, "Bill Cosby has been a good friend for many years and the mere thought of these allegations is truly saddening ... I would never tolerate this kind of behavior, regardless of who was involved."
Man. This thing just gets sadder and sadder on so many levels -- and Hugh Hefner, considering who he is and what he's made an empire from -- decrying alleged actions against his life-long friend (in public, nonetheless!) only helps make the shame even worse, if that's at all possible at this point. You know things are bad when even your friends feel compelled to shake their head at what folks are saying about you.
