NFL star Plaxico Burress -- has signed to play for the New York Jets.
The wide receivers deal is reportedly for one year at around 3 million -- and it's GUARANTEED!
Burress recently served 20 months in prison on gun charges after he shot himself in the leg at a New York City nightclub. He was released on June 6.
He previously played for the Pittsburgh Steelers and New York Giants, where he caught the game-winning touchdown in Super Bowl XLII.
