Gwyneth Paltrow Graces the Cover of ELLE Magazine

Gwyneth Paltrow is expressing herself in the latest issue of Elle magazine -- and she talks about rumors of a split between her and hubby Chris Martin, the lead singer of Coldplay.

The couple hasn't been seen together in public in about a year, and rumors of a split have been everywhere.

Gwyneth says:

“Sometimes it’s hard being with someone for a long time. We go through periods that aren’t all rosy.... you never know what’s going to happen. If, God forbid, we were ever not to be together, I respect him so much as the father of my children....You can never be relaxed or smug and think, I’ve got this thing."

Gwyneth and Chris got married in 2003. They have two children named Apple and Moses (yes, those are their names).
