Rapper Petey Pablo has been sentenced to spend the next 35 months in federal prison after he tried to take a stolen handgun that was loaded through a NC airport last year.
Pablo was famous for hits like "Freak-A-Leek" and "Raise Up" -- He pleaded GUILTY to possessing a stolen firearm in a North Carolina courtroom.
An investigation revealed the gun was stolen in a home burglary in Gardena, CA back in 2005.
There is no word when Pablo will begin his sentence.
