Police went to Sharon Stone's L.A. mansion early this morning, after the actress called 911. She was concerned that someone may have broken into her home -- good news is, it was a false alarm.
Stone personally called authorities around 2:00 AM when she heard a noise in the house -- so she didn't take any chances and called police.
Once cops responded to the house, we're told officers checked out the situation and determined there was no sign of a break-in.
