Anderson Cooper Spends Between $5 And $9 Million On Connecticut Tudor Revival Home

Anderson Cooper just dropped between $5 and $9 million for this Tudor revival home in Litchfield, Connecticut. The place was last listed for $5.3 million this past February. The previous owners purchased it back in 2001 for a mere $2.05 million and then fully restored and renovated it.

Built in 1908 and designed by Wilson Eyre, the 10,127-square-foot abode has a whopping 18 bedrooms, as well as features including chestnut paneling, limestone fireplaces, and a hand-carved marble staircase.

The estate sits on 280 acres of land that boasts "Japanese pagoda trees, wisteria, magnolias, a walkway with stone pillars and a grape arbor," according to the listing.

The CNN anchor owns three East Coast getaways, but he is currently trying to get rid of his $2.69 million Hamptons home.
