Mark Ruffalo Claims Ben Affleck Came Between Him and Jennifer Garner

 

Mark Ruffalo's friendship with Jennifer Garner didn't stand the test of time. 

Though they were friendly around the time they made the 2004 romantic comedy, "13 Going on 30," Ruffalo said that their relationship fizzled shortly thereafter. 

"We had a great time together!" Ruffalo told Andy Cohen on "Watch What Happens Live." "I think we would [have stayed close], but then Ben [Affleck] came on the scene and that was the end of that." 

When Cohen asked if Affleck prohibited Garner from having male friends -- a joke -- Ruffalo just shrugged.

These days, it seems both parties have moved on. Ruffalo is starring in a new movie, "Begin Again," alongside Keira Knightley, while Garner was recently honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
