She's back in Los Angeles now, but during her 36-hour stay in Miami this week, Kim Kardashian (along with her sisters Kourtney, Khloe and Kylie) shacked up at The Villa By Barton G. in South Beach. The mansion, which once belonged to famed fashion designer Gianni Versace, has changed hands quite a few times over the years, but these days it's a luxury hotel with ten bedroom suites, including the one that used to belong to Versace himself.

The 23,000-square-foot estate was once known as the Amsterdam Palace, and later the name was changed to Casa Casuarina. It first popped up on the market in 2012 for $125 million, a year later the price was reduced to $75 million and last fall the Nakash family bought the pad at an auction for $41.5 million. (They're the peeps behind Jordache jeans, FYI).

Barton G. Weiss took over the mansion in December 2009 and re-opened as a hotel and restaurant. According to a description on the hotel's website, "Guests can take a dip in the mansion’s exemplary 54 foot long Thousand Mosaic swimming pool which is lined in 24 karat gold designed specially by Gianni Versace. With the utmost attention to detail, expertly trained staff is ready to attend to guest needs and provide exceptional service."
