The BIG comeback Lindsay Lohan desperately needs might NOT happen!
Earlier this year, Lohan booked a role in the biopic Gotti: In The Shadow Of My Father, a film about the mobster starring John Travolta and Al Pacino.
As of right now, filming is on the verge of being shut down, reports Deadline.
Producer Marc Fiore doesn't have the cash to finance the movie's production -- payments to several of the stars didn’t fall through. An expected early 2012 start date now seems unlikely."
Fiore reportedly promised actors too much money without the backing. Travolta was hired for $10 million, Pacino for $7 million -- very high salaries for an indie film.
The movie ran into problems earlier this year when star Joe Pesci said producers had given him a raw deal and backed out of his contract.
