Madonna who is looking gorgeous at the tender age of 53 visited Anderson Cooper's talk show to discuss her two Golden Globe nominations.

Madge was nominated for Best Original Score and Best Original Song from her upcoming film W.E..

As for directing the movie, the Material Girl tells Cooper, "I really feel the pressure, and the expectations are pretty high."

Although she looks fantastic, we can't help but notice Madonna's squeaky suit!

Kobe Bryant is NOT as Rich as You Might Think

Kobe Bryant's net worth is approximately $150 million -- according to sources in a direct position to know.

Sources intimately familiar with the situation mentions.... the $150 million accounts for real estate holdings, stock, cash and other assets.

The figure is far less than news reports which set Kobe's fortune north of $400 million. But the $150 million figure is the accurate one.

Kobe and Vanessa DO NOT HAVE A PRENUP. Given that the marriage has lasted more than a decade and the pre-marriage assets are commingled with what was accumulated during the marriage, the assets are distributed based on the community property laws of California -- which means a 50/50 split.

Kobe and Vanessa have already struck a financial settlement, but she was in a good position to get half of the pie.

Kobe Bryant's Wife Files For DIVORCE

Kobe Bryant's wife has filed for DIVORCE.

Vanessa Bryant filed legal docs Friday afternoon, citing "irreconcilable differences."

Sources say Vanessa -- who stuck by Kobe after he was charged with sexually assaulting a Colorado woman in 2003 -- decided to end the marriage because she believes Kobe has been UNFAITHFUL.... again.

As one source puts it, "She's been dealing with these incidents for a long time and has been a faithful wife, but she's finally had enough," adding, "This one is the straw that broke the camel's back."

Sources add Kobe "DESPERATELY" wants to win Vanessa back and will do "whatever it takes" to save their 10 1/2 year marriage.

According to the legal docs, Vanessa is asking for joint custody of their 2 daughters -- 8-year-old Natalia and 5-year-old Giana -- but Vanessa is asking that Kobe get visitation rights, which means she wants the kids in her care most of the time.

Apparently, the couple has NO PRENUP, so 29-year-old Vanessa is entitled to half of the empire Kobe built over the last decade.

Kobe went to the Jay-Z concert Tuesday night in L.A. without Vanessa, and people who saw him there say he looked miserable. Vanessa signed the divorce petition on December 1. Kobe signed his response on December 7.

The Bryants released a joint statement.... saying they have "resolved all issues" privately, with the assistance of counsel.

Barry Bonds Will Spend 30 Days in HOUSE ARREST For Lying About Steroids

Barry Bonds has just been sentenced to 30 days of house arrest -- for lying to a grand jury during a 2003 federal investigation into steroid use by MLB players

Bonds was also sentenced to two years probation.

Bonds was found guilty in April of felony obstruction of justice after a jury found he lied during a 2003 federal investigation into the alleged steroid use. The jury deadlocked on three other charges against him.

Bonds won a record-setting seven MVP awards during his career. He was a 14-time All Star, 8-time Gold Glove winner, and holds the records for both most home runs in a season (73) and home runs in a career (762).

Multiple sources say Jason plans to pop the question tonight in Las Vegas. Apparently, Britney knows they're getting engaged, so it's not going to be a big surprise.

Sources say Britney's conservators have given their stamp of approval. The matter will go before the judge in the conservatorship case but it's virtually certain Britney will get the judge to sign off.

Sources add Jason did it the old fashioned way.... by asking Britney's dad, Jamie Spears, for permission to marry his daughter.

Producers wanted Stern so bad, they've even agreed to move 'AGT' to NYC -- so Howard can continue working on his radio show.

Fact is.... Stern is a smart dude who knows his audience and when he should push the limits.

Bottom line -- AGT could become the biggest show on TV.

Angelina Jolie Talks About Her "Worldly" Kids and Cooking With Brad Pitt

The 36-year-old director/actress sat down with Anderson Cooper to discuss her cooking experiences with Mr. Pitt.

Jolie who is promoting her directorial debut In the Land of Blood and Honey, tells Cooper:

"Brad and I decided we were actually going to make the turkey and we were very successful and very proud of ourselves. We did it!"

It's no secret that Jolie and the Moneyball actor take their six kids traveling around the world. Angie adds:

"Fortunately, my kids love to travel… they're very worldly. What I love is that they can be in New York in a hotel in Manhattan and think it's so cool, and then I can bring them to the middle of Kenya and drop them in a tent with no TV and no nothing, and they're just as happy."

 

Angie's appearance will air on Anderson next Monday.

Kim Kardashian just dropped $65k to outbid a gang of serious jewelry nuts for 3 unbelievable jade and diamond bracelets that used to belong to Elizabeth Taylor.

Taylor's entire collection of rare and expensive jewelry was auctioned off in NYC this week for a whopping $116 MILLION -- and Kim was one of the bidders.

Sources close to Kim say she idolized Taylor -- especially after Kim did a magazine interview with Liz for a project shortly before her death. So when Kim saw LT's 3 jade and diamond Lorraine Schwartz bangle bracelets on the auction block, she snatched 'em up for a cool $64,900. 

Kim is not in possession of the jewelry yet -- but she's expected to get them in the next few days.

Clint Eastwood's Family Signs Up For Reality Show

Clint Eastwood is following the footsteps of the Kardashians. Sources say Eastwood's wife and two of his daughters are currently shooting a family reality show intended to air on the E! network.

The show will explore what it's like to live in a family of "Hollywood royalty."  It will focus on the relationship between Clint's wife Dina Eastwood, their daughter Morgan and Clint's 18-year-old daughter Francesca ... an aspiring actress.

Apparently 81-year-old Clint has agreed to make a couple of cameos -- but will NOT be a main character on the show.

The show is being produced by reality powerhouse Bunim/Murray -- the same people who produce all of the Kardashian reality shows.... along with "The Real World" and "Bad Girls Club."

Producers are hoping to get the show on the air in the next few months.

Giuliana Rancic Undergoes Successful Double Mastectomy

Giuliana Rancic underwent a successful double mastectomy and reconstructive surgery last night for her breast cancer, according to E! Online.

Husband Bill Rancic told the site, "G is doing really well.... Her surgery lasted about four hours and the doctors were very pleased with the result. She had a little bit of pain through the night but is feeling much better this morning and was cracking jokes." Giuliana added, "I want to thank all the viewers and fans for their support and prayers. The tweets and notes have not gone unnoticed. I am very grateful."

The E! News host was diagnosed with breast cancer three months ago, and she recently told The Today Show's Ann Curry that after some careful consideration, the radical procedure was the only option for her. "For me, it was important to get the cancer out," she said. "That's what I wanted to do, just get it out.... At the end, to be honest, all it came down to was just choosing to live, and not looking over my shoulder for the rest of my life."

The 18th Annual SAG Awards Nominations

The nominees for the 18th annual SAG Awards were announced on Wednesday, Dec. 14. The Help led with four nominations, earning a leading role nomination for Viola Davis who plays the maid Aibileen Clark, supporting noms for Jessica Chastain and Octavia Spencer, and a motion picture ensemble nomination.

Other films nominated for best motion picture ensemble include The Artist, The Descendants, Midnight in Paris and Bridesmaids.

For the television nominations, ABC’s Modern Family leads total of five nods, including outstanding comedy ensemble. Dexter and 30 Rock follow with three nominations each.

Lindsay Lohan Shows IMPRESSIVE PROGRESS During Probation Hearing

Lindsay Lohan appeared in court today for her probation progress report -- and a very surprised Judge Stephanie Sautner began by saying, "Miss Lohan, you have actually done your work."

The judge noted Lindsay actually completed her 12 days of community service early. She also went to an extra therapy session -- 5 instead of the required 4.  The judge also said the morgue was pleased by the work Lindsay has done there, "At least as pleased as a morgue can be."

Judge Sautner said there was some confusion over whether Lindsay was allowed to go to Hawaii last week, but ultimately the Judge said it was ok, because she was celebrating her sister's birthday and she was allowed to go out of state for family events.

Lindsay is due back in court next month, but so far, so good.

Jerry Sandusky BLOCKS Accusers From Talking

Jerry Sandusky just executed a legal maneuver that will keep 8 of his accusers from telling tales of horrific sexual abuse....but it's only temporarily.

The former Penn State assistant coach waived his right to a preliminary hearing this morning in his child molestation case. The judge was supposed to hear testimony from Sandusky's accusers and then decide if there was enough evidence to justify a trial.  By waiving his right to a preliminary -- the case will automatically be set for a full trial.

On his way into court, Sandusky said, "We fully intend to put together the best possible defense that we can do, to stay the course, to fight for 4 quarters.  We want the opportunity to present our side."

Outside the courthouse, Sandusky's lawyer, Joseph Amendola, told the media, "There will be no plea negotiations. This is a fight to the death."

Donald Trump is Pulling OUT of the Debate!

Sounds like Donald Trump has fired himself -- and will no longer moderate a Republican presidential debate in Iowa later this month.

Trump made the announcement earlier today -- explaining he was 86-ing himself because he's still not convinced there's a strong GOP challenger.... and he wants to have the option to run himself .... if he feels like it.

Before Trump bowed out, several leading candidates had already made it clear they wouldn't participate -- including Mitt Romney, Rick Perry, and Michele Bachmann.

The battle between Hulk Hogan and ex-wife Linda Bollea isn't over.

The wrestling icon, 58, filed court papers last week accusing his ex, 52, of defamation, after she accused him of brutal physical abuse and cheating on her with a male wrestler.

Hulk (Terry Bollea) tried to keep a sense of humor about the fracas while making a Saturday appearance at the Spike TV Video Game Awards in Culver City, CA.

"After the four-year crazy divorce I thought I'd heard everything I could hear in the courtroom," he told Us Weekly, laughing. "Then, all of a sudden she says I abused her, that I was violent. She told everybody that I was a homosexual." (Linda leveled her claims in both a shocking memoir and interviews promoting the book.

Clarified Hogan about Linda's charge that he had a sexual relationship with fellow wrestler Brutus Beefcake: "If any of that was true, I would admit it, and I was a homosexual I would embrace it. It's just so crazy to hear, so I have a real problem with it....If you're going to say I'm something that I'm not to try to ruin my career and my livelihood....I have to answer her back."

Hogan, who shares daughter Brooke, 23, and son Nick, 21, with Linda, told Us magazine he's baffled by the situation.

Kobe spoke with reporters yesterday.... and ripped the organization for trading Lamar to the Dallas Mavericks... saying, "I don't like it.... to be honest with you, I don't like it."

Bryant was then asked if the Lakers had become fed up with Lamar's extracurricular camera whoring -- to which Kobe shot back, "You're talking about the Sixth Man of the Year last year.... he played lights out. I don't understand the criticism of reality shows and this, that and the other."

He added, "I don't get it. I don't understand that. He had his best season last season, clearly it wasn't a distraction, and he played his ass off. I don't get where that comes from."

With her Playboy spread officially released online, Lohan showed off her physique in a tiny bikini ... that couldn't quite tame her breasts.

Lohan FREAKED OUT Saturday night when her purse went missing at a house party -- a purse which contained her ID, passport and $10k in cash.

The purse was eventually returned.... minus the money.

Khloe and Lamar: We're Taking Our Show on the Road

Lamar Odom and Khloe Kardashian aren't going to Dallas alone -- camera crews from their E! reality shows will be going with them.

Sources connected to "Khloe and Lamar" and "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" say cameras will definitely follow Lamar's journey to the Dallas Mavericks -- and the move and their life in Dallas will be a plot line in both of the shows.

British retirees travel to India to take up residence in what they believe is a newly restored hotel. Less luxurious than its advertisements, the Marigold Hotel nevertheless slowly begins to charm in unexpected ways.

The film stars Judi Dench, Bill Nighy and Maggie Smith.

The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel is set to hit theaters on March 9, 2012.

Weekend Box Office: 'New Year's Eve' Disappointing Debut At The Top Spot

While it did finish in first place, New Year's Eve dropped the ball this weekend with a disappointing $13.7 million opening. Things were comparatively better for The Sitter, though Jonah Hill didn't impress in his solo debut.

There is also a very good chance that once all movies report tomorrow, overall box office will wind up at its lowest point since 2008. New Year's Eve's estimated $13.7 million was off 75 percent from Valentine's Day's $56.3 million debut last February. A drop was to be expected, given the different time of year and the distance from the titular holiday, though the opening is still far lower than even the most modest expectations.

Lamar Odom Has Been TRADED To The Dallas Mavericks

IT'S OFFICIAL -- the Los Angeles Lakers are dumping Lamar Odom ... HARD -- and now, the left-handed forward is packing his bags for Dallas.

The Lakers traded Lamar yesterday to the Mavericks -- last year's champs -- and abandoned their bid for Hornets star Chris Paul in the process.

The Lakers had previously sought Chris Paul as well as Dwight Howard to create their own Big Three with Kobe Bryant -- but now, the team is just focusing on acquiring Howard ... a big relief to the rest of the Western Conference.

So far, no word from Lamar on the shake-up -- but as we previously reported ... his wife Khloe Kardashian is ready to follow him wherever he goes.

Alec Baldwin Took Shots At 'American Airlines' on SNL Last Night

Alec Baldwin took even more unrelenting shots at American Airlines last night -- mocking his recent cell phone debacle on "Saturday Night Live" -- even referring to himself as an "AMERICAN TREASURE."

Among the awesomeness ... Alec -- pretending to be the pilot of his ill-fated flight -- explained why he slammed the lavatory door so loudly during his alleged standoff with a flight attendant ... claiming, "Words with Friends" can be "frustrating."
