Alec Baldwin Returns To SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE On Sep 24th

Alec Baldwin can easily win bragging rights as the most familiar face that has hosted "Saturday Night Live". NBC's 37th season of SNL starts on September 24th.

This will be Baldwin's 16th time as host. The "30 Rock" actor moves past Steve Martin, who has done it 15 times. Radiohead will be the musical guest, the network has confirmed.

Jersey Shore’s Deena Cortese has openly admitted to going under the knife.

Deena admitted to having a nose job after being questioned about her cast made, J-WOWW's transformation and rumors of surgery.

“If she did, more power to you,” Deena, 23, told the New York Post. “I actually had a nose job.”

Jenni took to her Twitter page to respond but not deny, saying: "Flattered I'm the topic of tabloids. Funny what people assume when u lose weight and tone," she wrote.

"Dancing with the Stars" co-host Brooke Burke and "Baywatch" star David Charvet are FINALLY husband and wife after a five-year engagement.

Reports are coming in that they tied the knot Friday night on a boat in St. Bart's, where they've been vacationing with their family for thee past week. Brooke and David have been together since 2005, and got engaged a year later while Brooke was pregnant with the couple's first daughter.

This is Burke's second marriage. She was previously married to plastic surgeon Garth Fisher -- with whom she has two children with.

Dennis Rodman INDUCTED Into the Basketball Hall of Fame

Dennis Rodman, the five-time NBA champion was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Hall of Fame.

The pro who blended ball and entertainment said, "My job was to go out there and win ballgames, and have a good time and take care of my family. As long as the people had a good time, that was my main objective."

Kristin Cavallari has been offered a contract to be a contestant on Season 13 of "Dancing with the Stars".

The 24-year-old blonde plans to sign on for the new season, a source added.

This would mark the second reality star from "The Hills" to show off their dancing moves on the ballroom floor. Kristin's former co-star, Audrina Patridge, appeared on Season 11, where she was paired with pro dancer Tony Dovolani, and placed seventh in the competition.

Heather Locklear, 49, is engaged to Jack Wagner, who also happened to be her co-star on Melrose Place.

Casey Anthony Will Go Back To Florida For Probation Case

Casey Anthony has just been ordered back to Florida to begin probation in her check fraud case -- and she has two weeks to show up -- OR ELSE!

Casey was originally supposed to be in Florida last Friday, but Casey's laywer was able to convince the judge that it's unsale for her to be in Florida. Judge Perry reissued the order -- and now, Casey must report to an Orange County probation officer no later than August 26th at noon -- unless she wants to be arrested.

Anthony's legal team had argued she already served probation time while awaiting trial -- but Perry wasn't convinced -- insisting she had to serve probation AFTER jail.

The  only  kindness that Judge Perry showed was that he agreed to keep her address private during her probation -- because she has received numerous death threats.

HBO Renews 'True Blood' For Season 5

The 12-episode fifth season of "True Blood" will begin production in Los Angeles later this year and will premiere on HBO in the summer of 2012.

 

"I am thrilled that 'True Blood' continues to enjoy a phenomenal reception from both subscribers and critics," states HBO Programming President Michael Lombardo. "Alan Ball and his gifted team have devised the greatest thrill ride on TV."

Ex-Warrant Singer Jani Lane DEAD AT AGE 47

Jani Lane was the former lead singer of the rock band Warrant. He was found dead at a hotel in Los Angeles on Thursday evening.

Lane's body was discovered at the Comfort Inn hotel in Woodland Hills, CA. So far, no official cause of death has been released. Lane famous for his band's biggest hit "Cherry Pie" back in 1989. He later left the band to pursue a solo career.

Lane was known to have a history of alcohol-related issues. He was once ordered to serve 120 days in jail after he was arrested for DUI in 2010.

UPDATE: Investigators found a half-empty bottle of vodka and prescription medication in the hotel room where Jani Lane died yesterday.

Sesame Street Says Bert & Ernie Are NOT GAY!

Sesame Street has FINALLY responded to old rumors that Bert and Ernie are gay. They claim the room-sharing male-puppets are JUST FRIENDS -- and have no sexual orientation whatsoever.

A petition emerged online earlier this week, urging the creators of Sesame Street to marry the two puppets -- but the Sesame Workshop just posted a message on its Facebook account, writing, "Bert and Ernie are only best friends."

The statement continues, "They were created to teach preschoolers that people can be good friends with those who are very different from themselves."

"Even though they are identified as male characters and possess many human traits and characteristics -- they remain puppets, and do not have a sexual orientation."

This explains why their so touchy with each other.....because their just friends. YEAH RIGHT!

Sharon Stone -- Deranged Man HANDCUFFED Outside Her Los Angeles Home

A deranged man was just handcuffed and taken away by cops outside Sharon Stone's Hollywood Hills mansion this morning -- after he was banging at her gate, claiming he was the one who killed Osama bin Laden.

Law enforcement sources said -- a male, approximately 50 years old, from the Midwest -- took a cab to Sharon's house and began ranting out loud that he and Sharon had a child together. 

Apparently, Sharon was not at home during the time because she's in New York shooting a movie. Her staff called the LAPD, and cops raced up and subdued the man before he was able to enter Sharon's property.

The man is currently being detained for mental evaluation. This is the second time in less than a year that someone left her home in handcuffs.

Alex Trebek's Burglary Suspect Was a PROSTITUTE

The suspect who Alex Trebek claims he chased down -- turns out she is a prostitute who was at the hotel to meet another person, NOT Alex.

The suspects lawyer Mark Jacobs said Lucinda Moyers just happened to be on the same floor where Alex was fast asleep with his wife. Jacobs says there's no proof Lucinda entered Alex's room and stole anything, but he did not explain why Alex would have chased her down the hallway.

Mr. Trebek ripped his Achilles tendon in the process.

'The Hills' Reality Show Might Turn Into a MOVIE

Although all the stars of MTV's reality show The Hills have seemed to move on their separate ways, (until money talks) but it seems there might be a cast reunion in the form of a movie!

Audrina Patridge spoke with Ryan Seacrest on his morning radio show about the possibility of a Hills movie.

She said:

Adam DiVello (Hills creator) did talk about wanting to do a Hills movie, but we were kind of all just so fed up with each other that we all needed a little break. We've all had our break, so maybe we'll all come back together and do a movie. You never know!

Although Audrina may be ready for the idea of a Hills movie, it might take her co-stars some convincing, you know....LOTS OF MONEY!
