Joan Rivers Remains Unconscious as Celebrity Friends Send Prayers

Joan Rivers remains unconscious since being rushed to a New York hospital on Thursday morning, according to ABC News.

The comedian is reportedly on life support. She was placed in a medically-induced coma at Mount Sinai Hospital after going into cardiac arrest during a endoscopy at a clinic. She is said to have stopped breathing during the routine procedure.

Her daughter Melissa Rivers released a statement on Friday stressing that her mother’s condition remained serious.

“My mother would be so touched by the tributes and prayers that we have received from around the world,” the statement read. “Her condition remains serious but she is receiving the best treatment and care possible. We ask that you continue to keep her in your thoughts as we pray for her recovery.”

Jewel Shows Off Bikini Bod In The Bahamas

Jewel took to Instagram on Friday to flaunt her super-slim beach bod, showing off her killer curves in a tiny red two-piece.

"Just another day at the beach #concertinthebahamas," she captioned the sexy snap.

The singer is set to play at the Atlantis as part of the Paradise Music Festival on Saturday.

The 40-year-old beauty, who recently split with husband Ty Murray, clearly has been working hard on her body. So, how does she stay in shape?

"I try to stay away from an all-or-nothing mentality when it comes to food. It's like a pendulum: The more extreme I am--like saying, 'I'm not going to eat any carbs'--the further it's going to swing to the other side and I'm going to binge," she told Shape back in 2010.

Wesley Snipes Is Set To Reprise His Role In ‘Blade 4’ For $3 Million

Wesley Snipes is reportedly looking forward to reclaiming an old role as a vampire hunter in a fourth installment of Blade.

Daily News reported that Snipes would make $3 million and a cut of the profits for starring in the fourth movie in the Blade series. A source close to Snipes let the beans spill about some small movie details and claims that Snipes is “looking good” for the main role in the fourth installment of Blade.

The original Blade movie debuted in 1998 and made more than $130 million. It was followed by Blade II in 2002 and Blade: Trinity in 2004. Snipes played “Blade” in all three of the films.

'The Rewrite' Trailer: Hugh Grant Is a Womanizing Screenwriter

Hugh Grant is an Oscar winner — well, his character is, anyway — in the upcoming romantic comedy The Rewrite.

In the film's first trailer, Grant plays Keith Michaels, a screenwriter who won an Oscar many years ago and is now forced to take a teaching job in a small town to pay the bills.

Marisa Tomei co-stars as one of his students who isn't impressed by the level of commitment that the professor is putting forth. Meanwhile, Keith gets himself caught in a web of lies involving Matt Damon and Ryan Gosling.

Allison Janney, J.K. Simmons and Chris Elliott also appear. Marc Lawrence (Did You Hear About the Morgans?) wrote and directed the film, marking the director's fourth collaboration with Grant. The actor was last seen in 2012's Cloud Atlas.

A U.S. release date for The Rewrite has not yet been announced.

Madonna Slams Lady Gaga In Nasty New Song Lyrics, Calls Her A "Copycat" And A "Wannabe"

Madonna has made it quite clear that she's not a fan of Lady Gaga, and a leaked track from her new album shows that she's still bitter about the much younger pop star's continued success.

The lyrics for Madge's new tune "Two Steps Behind Me" surfaced online the other day, and the 56-year-old singer puts Gaga on full blast, accusing her of imitating her signature style. Madonna sings:

"You're a copycat, where is my royalty? / You're a pretty girl, I'll give you that / But stealing my recipe, it's an ugly look / Did you study me hard enough? / You're never gonna be, you're just a wannabe me / Like a sister all messed-up, who's gonna help you out? / In your fantasy, you can try it all / But you can't be me / You can walk the walk, even talk the talk / But you'll always be two steps behind me."

It's not confirmed whether the track will make the final cut, but a source tells The Sun that it's definitely about Gaga. "They're very harsh lyrics, but Madonna really wants to express herself again," the insider says.

Express herself? More like make herself look like a desperate and jealous old witch! "Gaga's going to be mortified," the snitch continued. "I'm hearing Madonna may well drop the first of the tracks as soon as November, much earlier than expected."

Jimmy Kimmel Surprises Jennifer Aniston By Getting The 'Friends' Gang Back Together

Apparently, Jimmy Kimmel is a big 'Friends' fan.

The late night talk show host recently had Jennifer Aniston on as a guest and convinced her to participate in acting out a scene of 'Friends' Kimmel had written. Then, he unveiled an "80,000" dollar replica set.

As if that weren't enough to overwhelm Aniston, he proceeded to "surprise" her with a few cast members. It's tough to tell whether Aniston actually knew they'd be there or not, but her and the crowd's reaction is still worth the watch.

The Greatest 'Star Trek' Selfie Ever Taken

Somehow, perhaps by some warping of the space-time continuum caused by the events of JJ Abrams' time traveling Star Trek movie, cast members from The Next Generation recently met up with Captain Kirk here on Earth for the Wizard World Comic-Con in Chicago and took the following photo, which has been deemed a "selfie."

Stephen Hawking Delivers The Most Heartwarming ‘Ice Bucket Challenge’ Video Yet

No one is more aware of how hard it is to live with ALS than Stephen Hawking, the world’s most famous physicist who has been suffering from an ALS-related condition for decades now. Because of this, we knew it was only a matter of time before we saw Hawking pop up in an “Ice Bucket Challenge” video of his own to help raise funds for finding a cure for ALS.

Unfortunately, Hawking said that he couldn’t take the Ice Bucket Challenge himself because he had pneumonia last year. However, he did recruit his three children Robert, Lucy and Tim to take the challenge on his behalf, and sure enough, they all enjoyed the wonderful sensation of having cold water dumped on their heads. Hawking also urged everyone who watched the video to donate money to the Motor Neurone Disease Association (MNDA) to help fund research into finding a cure for the disease.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie Are Finally Married

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have finally tied the knot. And they kept the nuptials a complete secret until today.

The wedding took place Saturday in a small chapel on the property of their sprawling Provencal estate, Chateau Miraval, in France. The nondenominational civil ceremony was witnessed by family and friends — and, yes, their six children took part in the wedding. Maddox and Pax walked Jolie down the aisle, Zahara and Vivienne threw petals, and Shiloh and Knox were ring bearers for the union, which was "very much a family affair."

In advance of the private ceremony, Pitt and Jolie, who have been together since 2005, obtained a marriage license from a judge in their home state of California. The judge then traveled to France to conduct the ceremony. "They are therefore married under Californian law," said the statement.

Clean Water Advocate Matt Damon Uses Toilet Water For Ice-Bucket Challenge

Now that's conservation. Matt Damon, an advocate for clean water worldwide, wasn't going to be wasteful when he stepped up to respond to the ice-bucket challenge.

Noting the ongoing drought in California and the global challenges of clean water, Damon went not to a garden hose or faucet but straight to the toilet to douse himself for Als research, explaining that such water in Western nations is typically cleaner than drinking water in developing countries. Though his choice might gross out some, Damon said adequate sanitation is still a problem for 2.4 billion people.

Chelsea Handler Gets Naked With Ellen Degeneres, Invites Famous Friends On For Chelsea Lately Series Finale

Chelsea Handler got up close and personal with Ellen DeGeneres in a video that was featured during Chelsea Lately's series finale.

The 39-year-old said goodbye to her long-running late night show with a bevy of famous faces, including Jennifer Aniston, Miley Cyrus, Sandra Bullock and 50 Cent. In another segment, Handler had on three lady guests, Aniston, Bullock and Mary McCormack, who all appeared on her first episode.

But we have to say Ellen's cameo was our favorite part! The hilarious sketch opens with the nude funny lady entering the Chelsea Lately "staff showers." The rinse off is quickly interrupted Handle by DeGeneres, who seems miffed about not being asked to do the show. Previously, the topless host did shower scene gags with Bullock and Conan O'Brien

After filming the finale, Chelsea, Aniston, Bullock and McCarthy all dined at Craig's in West Hollywood. Girls' night out.

Ben Affleck's Muscles Are So Bulky He Can't Put His Arms Down

Ben Affleck stopped by the L'Ermitage hotel in Beverly Hills today, and we couldn't help but notice that the actor has taken beefing up for his Batman role so seriously that he can barely rest his arms by his side.

The Bostonian actor is already hard at work filming Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, but he's going to be even busier these next couple months with his other film Gone Girl set to be released at the beginning of October.

Kylie Jenner Tries Her Hand At Modeling

With her big sister Kendall taking the fashion industry by storm, Kylie Jenner has some pretty big pumps to fill, but this is a solid first attempt!

The 17-year-old reality TV starlet covers V Magazine's new issue, and not only does she strike some fierce poses, but she makes some deep revelations about life in the spotlight.

"We don’t even remember a time before the show and before the cameras and all that,” the youngest member of the Kardashian-Jenner clan says. “It’s all kind of normal to us." As far as following in her famous family's shoes and getting along with them every step of the way, she admits that it's not easy. "I’m a Leo, and I relate to that," she says. "I’m not compatible with Scorpios—girls more than boys—but I live in a house with three of them: my mom, my dad, and Kendall.”

Aside from eating at Sugarfish and getting manicures, what are Kylie's other interests? “I’m obsessed with Instagram," she says. "Kendall showed it to me, and my mom was on Twitter before me, so I was kind of the last one in the family to get on social media."

Diane Sawyer Says Goodbye To ABC's 'World News'

Diane Sawyer will sign off on Wednesday night, a few days before her successor David Muir will officially take the helm.

ABC and Sawyer have made almost no fuss about her sign-off, seemingly employing the same strategy that worked when she took over for Charles Gibson just a few days before Christmas in 2009. There is no prime time retrospective or farewell tour planned -- merely a segment at the end of Wednesday's newscast.

Even the date of her last nightly broadcast was a semi-secret until she tweeted about it on Wednesday afternoon.

"See you tonight for my last night anchoring @ABCWorldNews -- great adventures ahead," she wrote.

As Sawyer alluded to with the tweet, she will be staying at ABC News, as a special correspondent of sorts, appearing on TV for big interviews and in-depth stories. She will still have an anchor title.

And it's not exactly fair to say she's leaving quietly, since "World News" has emerged victorious in the weekly ratings race after years in second place behind the "NBC Nightly News," anchored by Brian Williams.

Neighbors Congratulate Bryan Cranston On Emmy Win

Bryan Cranston is beloved by all his neighbors for playing a horrifying villain, and they let him know it by decorating the front of his house after his Emmy win.

After Bryan won for Best Actor ... the "Breaking Bad" star returned home to find balloons tied to his fencing and a handwritten note congratulating him.

But the thing is ... the note looks like it was written by neighborhood kids -- and we all know ... "Breaking Bad" is NOT fun family viewing.

Report: Apple Preparing To Release a Much Bigger iPad In Early 2015

Apple is working on an even bigger version of the iPad that it plans to launch next year, Bloomberg reports.

The new iPad will have a 12.9-inch screen. Today’s iPad Air has a 9.7-inch screen. The iPad Mini has a 7.85-inch screen. The big-screen iPad will launch in the first quarter of 2015, according to the report.

There have been rumors throughout Apple’s supply chain for months that the company was working on a larger version of the iPad. Some people have been calling it the iPad Pro. However, this report from Bloomberg is the most solid evidence we’ve had yet of such a device.

Meanwhile, Apple’s iPad business has been pretty sluggish. iPad sales growth has been declining. Last quarter, unit sales were down 9% on a year-over-year basis.

One way Apple is trying to reinvigorate iPad sales is by selling the devices to large companies through its new partnership with IBM. IBM will use its salesforce to sell iPads to large enterprises. It’ll also make enterprise apps for the tablets.

Leonardo DiCaprio Does The ALS Ice Bucket Challenge And Puts Other Celebs To Shame With $100,000 Donation

After being nominated by David Beckham, Leonardo DiCaprio is the latest celebrity to complete the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. The actor also donated a whopping $100,000 on behalf of his organization, the Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation, according to Us Weekly. And seeing as Leo is currently in Canada working on a documentary about climate change, he didn't exactly have the summer heat of Los Angeles to help him out. Current temps in the region he's in aren't even in the 70s!

P.S. We'd also like to commend Leo for flipping his phone sideways to shoot the video -- he might be the first celeb to post on Facebook who hasn't shot a clip vertically!

Richard Pryor Movie: Mike Epps Gets The Lead, Not Nick Cannon

Despite openly campaigning for the role of Richard Pryor in the upcoming biopic, Nick Cannon did not get the role ... Mike Epps did.

The film's director, Lee Daniels, posted a photo of himself, Oprah Winfrey and Epps ... with the caption, "And we're off... Get ready y'all for #richardpryor @eppsie @oprah"

Cannon was very outspoken about wanting the role, posting a pic on Instagram of himself and Pryor.

He'll just have to settle for landing the part of the ex Mr. Mariah Carey.

'Star Wars: Episode VII' Cast Takes Ice Bucket Challenge

Over the past few days, the cast of "Star Wars: Episode VII" has been taking the ALS ice bucket challenge -- with Mark Hamill the latest to get soaked.

And as you can see in the clip above, he's looking more like Obi-Wan Kenobi than Luke these days.
Hamill was challenged by fellow cast member Daisy Ridley, whose role in the upcoming film remains a mystery:

Even Harrison Ford got in on the act. His ice bucket challenge is the only clip on his YouTube page. (Who knew Harrison Ford even had a YouTube page? And can anyone picture Indiana Jones searching for cat videos?)

And since you can't have Han Solo without Chewbacca, here's Peter Mayhew's challenge:

Other "Star Wars" figures who've accepted the challenge include director of the current film, J.J. Abrams, director of the upcoming spinoff film, Gareth Edwards, and actor Oscar Isaac.

"Star Wars: Episode VII" is set for release on Dec. 18, 2015.

The ice bucket challenge is being used to raise money and awareness for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, a.k.a. Lou Gehrig’s disease. The ALS Association said Monday that this year's challenge has raised $79.7 million, compared to $2.5 million during the same period last year.

Emmys 2014: Winners, Highlights and Top Moments

Jim Parsons, Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Jessica Lange were among those named winners Monday at the 66th Primetime Emmy Awards.

The ceremony kicked off with a monologue from host Seth Meyers tweaking his home network, NBC, and other broadcasters for being eclipsed in the awards by cable series and online newcomers like "Orange is the New Black."

Noting that the Emmys were airing the night after the MTV Video Music Awards, he said that MTV doesn't really specialize in videos anymore. "That's like network TV holding an awards show and giving all the trophies to cable and Netflix. That would be crazy," Meyers joked.

Network comedies including "The Big Bang Theory" and "Modern Family" started out strong, and so did "True Detective" nominee Matthew McConaughey -- even before his category came up.

Jennifer Aniston Completes ALS Ice Bucket Challenge After Being Nominated By Justin Theroux

Jennifer Aniston accepted fiancé Justin Theroux's nomination for the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, and while she was a good sport and completed it, it didn't look like she enjoyed it all that much!

"Hi, I'm Jennifer Aniston and I accept this ALS Ice Bucket Challenge from Justin Theroux. I'm going to make a huge ginormous donation and so should you," she declared as she looked straight into the camera.

The actress nominated pals Chelsea Handler, Courteney Cox, and Howard Stern to follow in her footsteps.

Simon Cowell's GF Lauren Silverman Shows Off Baby Eric And Her Sexy Stems In St. Tropez

She's one hot mom! If anyone was questioning what Simon Cowell saw in baby mama Lauren Silverman -- we've got two reasons: those sexy stems!

Wearing a bodycon minidress, Simon's lady love, who gave birth to son Eric in February, walked it out during a sunny stroll through Saint-Tropez, France.

It seems like the duo have been enjoying their holiday together. Earlier in the week, Lauren and Simon got very cozy with each other at Pampelonne beach as they summered on the French Riviera.

MTV VMAs: Winners, Highlights And Memorable Moments

Miley Cyrus won the top honor Sunday at the MTV Video Music Awards, but it was Beyonce's finale performance -- and on-stage cameos from her husband and daughter -- that became the night's biggest moment.

An emotional Beyonce embraced Jay Z and 2-year-old Blue Ivy (who, wearing a gold dress, could be seen clapping her hands and appearing to say "Yay, Mommy") after they watched from the audience as she performed a medley of her hits at the close of the show.

The family was onstage together as the singer accepted the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard award. Jay Z called her the "greatest living entertainer," while she referred to him as "my beloved."

Beyonce, teary-eyed, thanked her fans and looked at her daughter and husband, telling them she loved them.

Cyrus' "Wrecking Ball" won the award for video of the year. Unlike last year's VMAs, when Cyrus twerked and danced shockingly onstage, she took a back seat Sunday night and let a young man accept her award to raise awareness for runaways and homeless youth.

Gerard Butler Gives The Breast And Butt Exam

Dr. Gerard Butler displayed his vast knowledge of the female anatomy ... by administering a mammogram in a public parking lot.

Butler was in Malibu this week with an unidentified smoke show when he started exploring inside her bikini balloons -- following up with a tush grab.

Take one of these ... and don't call me in the morning.

Box Office: ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ Steals Weekend to Become Summer's No. 1 Box-Office Hit

In what amounted to a box-office victory lap, “Guardians of the Galaxy” beat out three newcomers to win the weekend and in the process became the summer's highest-grossing domestic movie with nearly $252 million.

Disney's Marvel superhero space romp took in $17.6 million over the three days to return to No. 1 nearly a month after its opening. “If I Stay,” the teen tearjerker starring Chloe Moretz, opened to $16.5 million and was in a close race for second with “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles,” which has held the top spot for the past two weekends.

Actor-Director Richard Attenborough Dies At 90

Richard Attenborough was a lord, an Oscar-winning director for the much-lauded "Gandi" and an unflagging pillar to British cinema. But Attenborough, who died Sunday at 90, was best known as Dickie.

Baby-faced as a young actor and whitely bearded in his older age, Attenborough — warmly known as "Dickie Darling" — presided over six decades of British moviemaking as both an actor and filmmaker with a genial warmth that endeared him to his fans and fellow actors.

"I have no great interest in being remembered as a great creative filmmaker," he told The New York Times when "Gandi" was released in 1982. "I want to be remembered as a storyteller."

The actor's son, Michael Attenborough told the BBC that his father died Sunday. He had been in poor health for some time.
