Ricky Martin and boyfriend Carlos Gonzalez Abella have split.
"Ricky and Carlos have
mutually agreed to end their relationship but continue to be united by
friendship and their shared experiences," a rep for the singer told
several news outlets in a statement Thursday.
The Latin singer, 42, and his ex have been parents to 5-year-old twins, Matteo and Valentino, who were born in August 2008 via surrogate. The couple started dating in early 2008, and Martin came out to the public in 2010.
