Shia LaBeouf Admits To "Some Judgement Errors" And Promises To Wear Neon Pink Spandex

Shia LaBeouf appears on The Ellen DeGeneres Show today, and not only does he come across as incredibly charming, but it really seems like he's in a better place after all the drama he's been through in the last year.

"Man, I went through like an existential crisis," he candidly states. "Which turned into some explorations. I had some hiccups, some judgment errors." So what about him sticking a bag on his head and letting fans come visit with him and say whatever they wanted?

The 28-year-old actor tells Ellen:
"Yeah, there was a lot of negativity online. So I thought alright, well let’s see what all this negativity is all about. Let’s invite it in. I was sitting there with a bag over my head in this room. And we had these one on one situation where we’d invite one person at a time and they can do whatever they wanted and there was also this bowl of these really malicious tweets. So people would come in and read them. I was sitting in there broken. I was really truly apologetic so I was sort of like apologizing to the public in a way. So I thought for sure people were gonna come in and be super mean from what I’d been reading. But it wasn’t’ that way at all it was very human. Once they got in there everything changed. They stopped looking at me as like an object they started looking at me as like a human and they were very loving. It was really human."

Shia added that jail helped scare him straight, and he even apologizes to the cop whose face he spit in earlier this year. The Fury star added that it was his mom who really helped him get his sh*t together, and that he's been running 12 miles every day.

So naturally, Ellen gifted Shia with a pair of electric pink spandex that say “Ellen for the cure," and if Shia wears them and takes a picture (or is photographed in them), he will raise $10,000 for Breast Cancer Research on behalf of Ulta Beauty.
