After notoriously delivering a standup set that included remarks about killing his son if he turned out to be gay, Tracy Morgan spent the summer on an apology tour, working with GLAAD to reach out to gay youth and generally trying to distance himself as a person from his persona as a comic. As of a few weeks ago, when he appeared on "The Late Show," it was still a topic of conversation — but after his visit to "Rosie," Morgan might finally be off the hook.
Morgan appeared last night on Rosie O'Donnell's new talk/variety show on OWN, and O'Donnell evidently also felt she couldn't let the controversy pass without comment. However, O'Donnell also saw fit to accept Morgan's many apologies — not that she speaks for all gay people, according to her, but still.
