Ryan Gosling has made a movie. The Canadian is keeping it close to home with his directorial debut, Lost River, which stars his lady love, Eva Mendes. And we're not gonna lie -- this movie is really weird.
The film follows mother-of-two Billy (Christina Hendricks) who lives in an all-but abandoned town and is struggling to support her family. The mom of two gets sucked into a murky and violent underworld, complete with a bloody lady in pink (Eva Mendes).
The movie looks pretty weird in a Drive meets Blue Velvet way. We are sure audiences will want to check out Gosling's directorial debut -- but judging from what we've seen -- we aren't sure the film has that much to offer.
