George And Amal Clooney Get All Glammed Up For A Double Date

On Friday evening George and Amal Clooney went out to dinner in New York City, but rather than getting all glammed up for a night at a fancy restaurant, the couple went to the home of journalists Tina Brown and Sir Harold Evans for a night in.

Clooney carried a copy of Evans' 1998 book, The American Century, and even though they weren't in black tie garb, they looked like they could have easily graced a red carpet.

The couple, who tied the knot in September, have been in NYC for the last few months, after Amal nabbed a professor gig at Columbia Law School. George is currently shooting Money Monster at Kaufman Studios in Long Island, so that worked out well.
