Iggy Azalea Didn't Want To Win A Grammy: "People Already Hate Me Enough"

On Tuesday, the superstar rapper, who wore minimal makeup, took a break from recording at a Los Angeles music studio to chat with friends. We love her off-duty wear! And while some may love Iggy -- it appears as though not everyone is a fan.

The Aussie stopped by Los Angeles' Power 106 radio station and talked about being nominated for a Grammy for Best Rap Album and admitted she was glad she didn't go home with the award for her debut studio album The New Classic. "I did not want to win that award," Iggy admitted.

"I'm really happy that I was thought of and I appreciate just that," the "Fancy" rapper added. "I'm glad I didn't win because people already hate me enough... I do not need to be hated anymore."

The blonde was also nominated for Record of the Year for "Fancy," Best New Artist, and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for "Fancy" with Charli XCX. She lost in all categories --

The rapper also said in the interview that the social media hate didn't stop there -- so she turned her social media accounts over to her team instead of handling them herself.

"Even when I lost, that was the worst too. I was like, 'God damn, are you ever going to leave me alone? I lost, you should be happy! S--t, bye! Let me lose in peace."
