Heidi Klum has purchased this $9.8 million mansion from Ed Weinberger (creator of The Mary Tyler Moore Show and The Cosby Show), and believe it or not, this is actually a downgrade for the German supermodel.
When Klum was with ex-husband Seal, the couple spent $14.2 million for a 12,300-square-foot mansion in Brentwood with 8 bedrooms and 9.5 bathrooms on over 12 acres of land, but the new pad is a bit smaller with 6 bedrooms, 9 bathrooms and just 11,000 square feet of living space. The new home sits on 4.8 acres of land, and it was previously listed in 2010 for $15 million.
Klum's mansion sits in the exclusive Stone Ridge guard-gated community, and not only is there a lush lawn with sweeping views, but based on the aerial photos, it doesn't appear as though the model and her family have next-door neighbors on either side of their new pad. From hardwood floors to multiple fireplaces and chandeliers, the attention to detail is obvious everywhere. The large family room is adjacent to a fully-equipped country kitchen and a massive dining room, and other amenities include a media room with a bar, two offices, a library, a wine cellar, a third floor featuring a gym/dance studio and a basement area. There is a separate one-bed guesthouse, and not only is there a resort-sized pool, but according to listing info there is room for a tennis court.
