Charlie Sheen is reportedly trying to unload the Beverly Hills mansion he bought for ex-wife Brooke Mueller and their twin boys, Bob and Max.
The home was purchased in 2012 for $4.8 million, and Charlie also bought a pad for his other ex-wife Denise Richards in 2011 for $6.9 million so they could all be closer together in the gated Mulholland Estates community. Though Denise initially declined his offer, she's since moved in to the 9,000-square-foot home, which is right around the corner from Charlie's nearly 8,000-square-foot home, which he bought in 2006 for $7.2 million.
Brooke's soon-to-be former mansion has five bedrooms, six bathrooms and 6,625-square-feet of living space, and it sits on a .84 acre lot. The Spanish-style home was built in 1991, and it features exposed beam ceilings, sautillo tile, wrought iron fixtures, French doors and archways throughout. Outside there is a large pool/spa and a built-in BBQ with plenty of yard space.
According to sources, Sheen wants to sell the pad because he thinks Brooke is "poison and does not want her living in his gated community any longer." Brooke, a former real estate agent herself, was seen shopping around for condos in Bev Hills Monday, so this definitely adds up.
So is the Anger Management star going to try and make a few bucks? Nope! Under the terms of their divorce settlement, Brooke would get half of any profit, so Charlie is willing to sell it for the same amount he paid for it just so he can unload it quickly.
