Charlie Sheen Wants To Work With Chuck Lorre Again

Is one of Hollywood's nastiest feuds over? Maybe... if we're judging by Charlie Sheen's Twitter.

The "Anger Management" star reached out to his former "Two and a Half Men" boss Chuck Lorre with a tweet on Sunday, apparently to pitch an idea the two might work on together:

And yes, that's a picture of the 2007 People's Choice Award for Favorite TV Comedy that Sheen and Lorre won for "Two and a Half Men."

Of course, it'll take more than just a sentimental tweet to smooth over the bad blood between these two. During Sheen's infamous meltdown in 2011, he viciously attacked Lorre in the media, calling his boss a "clown" and a "charlatan" and leading Warner Bros. and CBS to kick him off the lucrative sitcom. (Ashton Kutcher replaced Sheen on "Men" that fall.)

And two years later, it's not hard to see who came out ahead. Despite a massive 90-episode renewal, Sheen's FX sitcom "Anger Management" is struggling in the ratings, and just endured another messy standoff between Sheen and co-star Selma Blair. Meanwhile, back on CBS, "Two and a Half Men" still pulls in 8 million viewers a week in its 11th season. Plus, another of Lorre's CBS creations, "The Big Bang Theory," is the top-rated comedy on TV and rakes in big bucks in syndication.

So the question isn't why Sheen would reach out to Lorre; it's why Lorre would ever respond.
